Pale's unofficial beer thread

I'm spinning this off from the St. Patrick's day thread.

I don't drink beer, I don't like beer, but A lot of people do.


What are some of your favorite beers? post pictures.

I'm with you, I don't like the taste of beer. Even if it's free, I don't like the taste of it. I do drink alcohol occasional (just last week I shared a bottle of Caribbean rum with someone), just not beer.

My personal favorite is Southern Tier Brewing Company's 2XIPA. I'm also a fan of most of Southern Tier's other beers, especially Phin & Matt's, Old Man Winter, and Hop Sun (which just came into season recently, so I need to go get some). Some of my other favorites include Bell's Two Hearted Ale and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I'm also a big fan of IPAs in general, as well as regular Pale Ales to a lesser extent.

If you like IPA's you should try Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing Co.  According to their website they even have a distributer in Philly.

Wow, those are some massive...mugs.

Leinenkugel's beer brewed in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin is my beer of choice.  It's good stuff, unlike most beer which I don't really like.
