I'm surprised and pleased to hear that someone thought highly of Goldeneye. Maybe I've grown cynical, but it seemed from the get-go to be an obvious ploy for nostalgia, and all the talk before Jonny opened up about its quality only fed that cynicism. Maybe I'll actually pick it up, although why there are three FPS' coming out in the same month (two from the same publisher!) is beyond me...
One question I had on the game that wasn't addressed: why is it only coming out for Wii if it has nothing to do, legally, with Rare's game?
Regarding Sony and Microsoft's motion controls, I have to admit that I'm unsure why they bothered, at this stage of the game, to mostly just ape what Nintendo's already done. Microsoft in particular isn't even trying to hide it, which is especially sad since Kinect has more potential to do something different than Move; I would actually pick up Dance Central and that Konami game, for instance, and while lacking a controller is probably pretty limiting I'm sure someone with more skill and creativity than I could come up with something that's feels fresh.
On a related note, what was that about Move not being as good as Motion+ in all aspects? I thought it was, literally, the same technology.
Regarding the Virtual Console, I'd love to get some more Enix classics on that service, especially Soul Blazer and Robotrek, but at this point I'd settle for Just Alright games from the friggin' Commodore64. It's painful to watch how badly that service has been bungled...
Final thoughts: it's no surprise Linderman's changed his avatar: I don't remember ever seeing him online!
