Oh I found it. It's subtle as hell and in B&W doesn't help. Besides we see that so often every day I think we mentally filter out noise like that.

hahah, when i was watching boardwalk empire I was thinking about what would happen if 5 regular people traveled to the 1920s with various modern gadgets, I wonder how powerful they could become. I had been applying this idea to the middle ages like your typical yankee in king arthurs court plotline, but the 1920s seem like an era when you could really take advantage of your techno-superiority. Most things wouldnt work without some sort of internet, but just having built in cameras into devices.

A modern Smart phone wouldn't work as a phone or GPS, or web browser, but if you had the projector attachment and a shitload of movies (on your 64TB SD card), you could tell and sell some of the wildest tales ever.
Also being able to record video and play it back would sell them that all the movies are filmed by you as you witnessed them...
Sound/video recording & playback, Pictures w/ flash. Photoshop on your phone (OMG ARE YOU A WIZARD!!?), movies, music, flashlight, GAMES!!! the future will be put on hold once everyone is lining up and paying you to play AngryBirds!!
Your calendar, alarm, notepad, clock.

So, was anyone you watched with scared in the slightest?

I thought at best it was a little creepy till they revealed what was going on. Then it just got a little weird and then a lot of stupid. I think I reviewed it in the movie thread somewhere.

Not really. Only at a couple spots.

She was freaked out when there was someone standing behind the crib. Also, when the mom was telling a story about the crazy guy in Dalton's room, but especially when he shows up right behind his Dad's head.

Honestly that scene when he pops up freaked me out too. That was it though. We spent the rest of time just laughing at it.

i didnt find Insidious scary, but I found it entertaining. The first time I watched it I walked out of the room for 30 minutes out of boredom for the first 5 minutes, but then when I got back in **** was getting good. It got all inception meets ghost busters.

Just so that everyone is aware, I updated the OP.

We have done 25 different movies now that The Perm has done movie #15 (that no one ever actually MFT'd).

I also reset the Poll since the #1 movie in the poll was Dead Alive, and Morari just MFT'd it last week. The majority of movies in the poll now are mostly Horror, but that's likely because horror lends itself to being made fun of more easily than most other genres.

But that complete's the 1st 2 weeks of October, and we have 2 weeks more to go.
A Bag full of applauds have been handed out to all participants so far, and maybe we can do this again with other holiday related movie sessions.

Are there any Thanksgiving movies for us to even make fun of?
