The closest I have ever played to original PONG was ones of those set top boxes some one still had hooked up to ithe TV about 15 years ago. The last PONG I played was Star Wars PONG for MACOS 7.

By playing this game, I will be breaking my no PONG streak.

If nobody wants to be your rival after sign ups end then I guess I could be your 1 game rival.
A pity rival? Ouch. Then again, this is all probably a part of your master plan. You're evil like that. Well played Maxi, well played.

Also, as far the prize, I think I have the same stance as Vudu: prizes make the game worse because then it tempts people to play for themselves rather than for their team victory.

So being nice to someone is being evil. I'll keep that in mind and won't be nice to you because you might think I am out to get you. /Sarcasm.

I don't agree with your point that people will play for themselves. Just play well and you are likely to be acknowledged. Heck in Mario Paintball I was the MVP but didn't survive the whole game. I did what I could in the time I was allowed. Thats all you really can do.

Who's my rival this game?  I haven't had a real rival in a while, really.  I guess vudu, but he's boring.

Eh, that only works when we're on the opposite side.  And then, when we are, I figure out he's a villain, like Mario Kart Mafia, where he got to live, just because people didn't think his side was a threat.

Edit:  Also, in as Pong IV console.  (I thought it was called "Super Pong IV," was I mistaken?

How's that?  You never talk to me, when it comes to the game.  I'm not talking about long-winded, pointless rants, but still, how about some types of villainy or proof of how you antagonize?

So being nice to someone is being evil.
Depends on the reason for being nice. If it's just because you feel sorry for me then that's the wrong reason. But then again that's the kind of thing a worthy rival might do...

I don't think I'd want to be your rival, Thatguy. We were rivals in the Mario Kart Mafia which made things interesting, but that also made me get more involved in the game than I would have liked.

How were we rivals?  I told you a bunch of things, so we could work together, then I was voted out as a result of circumstances that didn't relate to either of us.  No rivalry present.

Though I can be your rival this game if you want.  I suppose it's hard to form rivals if you don't have long-term trends that deal with who is on which side.  I'd say the closest thing I do have to a rival is Vudu, just because history has shown we haven't been on the same side very often.  Hmm...

I think I am going to go be your rival Mop_it_up. Not out of pity but to see you get better. Rivals can learn from each other.

thatguy maybe you should wait till sign ups end. More Choices.

How were we rivals?
We were on opposite teams, that made us rivals. Maybe I shouldn't tell you this but every day I thought of ways to dispose of you, but nothing I could think of was feasible.

Rivals can learn from each other.
Truth. I definitely learned something from that Mario Kart game.

So what you're saying is that I found a strategy that completely nullified every effort you could even attempt to come up with to counter it, and that made us rivals?

I guess so. I certainly didn't forget that you were not on my team. But I was never confident enough to concoct a clever plan to get you voted out; mostly I didn't have the guts to attempt anything I came up with. And you know what they say, no guts, no glory. That's certainly been my outcome of the Mafia game, seeing that my only win out of six games was one that I just fell into thanks to having wonderful teammates.

I can play two parts.  Even if I'm on competing sides.  I needed a rival, and he found one I never would have thought of.  Perfect!

Well if you do go with that then you need to get into arguments with yourself and thwarting yourself.
