So how about the memorial service? It was nice to send Michael Jackson off in style. My favorite parts were Stevie Wonder, John Meyer, and Usher.

Also, Paris Jackson. Talk about guts. Even though she only spoke for like 12 seconds, the fact she wanted to let the whole world know how much she loved her daddy... No words. Just choked backed tears. :'(

Always nice to see memorials where people who couldn't give a crap about him when he was having troubles now act like they were his best friend. Or putting a 10 year old in front of everyone and having her talk to a large crowd of his "fans". But hey exploiting kids is A-ok now in our culture. Marvelous

Oh wow. What is wrong with you?

As harsh as she came off, it's still a legitimate statement.. Where were all these people during the hard times in Michaels life? Its sad that people either seem to care, or pretend to care, once someone dies. I don't exactly share the exact same views as GP but i see where she's coming from, and i've seen it happen to other people (celebrity or not), its sad.

You mean where were they in those intensely emotional and private struggles that Michael Jackson went through? Michael Jackson had a lot of friends, and it's unreasonable to suggest that they didn't care. I'd suggest and an incredibly shy person Michael just wanted a lot of space.

And to the suggestion that Michael's daughter Paris was exploited? Please. She wanted to speak. No-one pushed her to say anything, and I'm pretty sure her family was just as surprised as anyone that she wanted to speak up. It was a powerful, brave and moving gesture that she wanted to share.

Yes Michael was a very private person but that doesn't mean his celebrity friends couldn't of spoken out during all the molestation allegations. As i recall, all you ever heard was the fans outcry of his innocence.

I'm sure they showed support personally, that's all you can really ask for or expect.

No. If I came down with false Murder One charges and as a celebrity, I had a lot of celebrity friends, I'd expect them to do much more publicly.

****, I'd expect one to pull a Huey Freeman and try and bust my ass out of jail.

You would put your Celebrity career at risk(endoresment, contracts, etc etc.), against the advisement of your publicist & agent, to publicly back a friend that was accused of felony level stuff?

I think private support and public silence is more than enough on the matter. Maybe a character statement*, but I wouldn't risk it all to show 100% friend loyalty just for the media's sake, and I don't think your friend in trouble would want that either.

I saw that earlier too. It's kind of eerie the first time you watch it, but that dude is dead, surely this is fake. There is also another video of MJ being airlifted, and his body moves, though it could just have been someone moving the gurney.

LOL that was the dumbest thing i've ever seen. aside from the clothes and hair there's nothing there to make anyone but a nut think "HEY THATS MICHAEL JACKSON!". This is one of those things where you see what you want to see because you were misled. If this video was posted in a different thread and there was no mention of Michael Jackson anywhere, how many people would jump to the conclusion that MJ faked his death?

With that said however, imagine if it WAS real.. a few questions to ask would be:

How would such a celebrity handle the big reveal?

Would he even want to "come back"?

How would fans handle the fake death?

How would promoters handle it!?

What if it was a matter of anesthetic overdose to the point where they thought he was dead since they didn't hear a pulse. He was somehow in some sort of catatonic state of suspended animation. Then sometime after they declared him dead, he woke up. Realizing what they had already done, and how NOT having to be Wacko Jacko anymore felt lke someone took a huge weight off his shoulders, he told them to not correct the story.

Now he will have more plastic surgery to alter his face, then move to Las Vegas and live out the rest of his life as a the best damn Michael Jackson impersonator ever.

If he wanted to be burden free why would he be an mj impersonator?

He could just live out the rest of the days in a small colorado town as michael jefferson, retired pharmacist.

Expect there would NOT be murder charges being filled and his estate divided up and his kid taken away if he faked it...

Also my hobbies: Hiding in shady parking garages with a camcorder hoping something happens. Really, if it was a security cam footage maybe; but come on fake on so many levels. Someone really really really needs a life. The video is just pathetic...

Because he loves to sing and dance. He's just tired of the all the fame, accusations & debt.

As long as it's on the South side, preferably next to a Park or something.

There are no murder charges. Homicide simply means a person was killed by a person, doesn't mean it was necessarily intentional, or that charges will be, or even can be pressed.

I figure it will end in a Malpractice & wrongful death suit. No time will be served, but that doctor will not practice medicine anymore.

i was talking with my mom about oprah and how she gives away cars and such to the entire audience, I was like "Oprah can make anything happen"

Oprah : "tonight on our show Michael Jackson will perform!"
My mom laughed but then she said "that was wrong on so many levels"
