I can see some very interesting, yet unpractical games coming from Natal

I expect natal to go over like a lead balloon. It has some interesting concepts, but I don't know if people will latch onto it.

They're onto Paint Party. He's making a pool splashing motion to "throw" paint onto the canvas. He can change colors by simply "saying" the color. "White" "Dark Brown"

And its over. I think of Natal as a 'me too' tech that doesn't work for any game type. They also don't talk about how much light is required in the room.

thats all folks.

Nothing mindblowing, no major MEGATONS, but Sony lost another exclusive.
Natal was probably the most interesting thing that they showed, but it on a wait and see status to see how/if they actually use it.

Modern Warfare 2 was probably the best game of the conference too and the only surprise was L4D2, even though we kinda knew about it already.

The devkits for Natal are going out now... Imagine what that means for the first game release dates (and how much longer we'll have to wait until someone makes a game for it that doesn't suck). Motion Plus is going to get a serious lineup TOMORROW. That is why MS would have had to make their move in 2008.

Of the games the only one that looked really interesting to me is the Epic Super Metroid ripoff. If Epic is going to be as in GoW it's not going to come out here though...

I think most people have listened up on the mention of Metal Gear and tuned out on the mention of Raiden...

Crackdown 2 isn't a system seller.  Anyone who cares already has Crackdown and a 360.

Alan Wake is a potential system seller.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

But we already knew about CD2.
everyone was just hoping that there would be a playable demo on LIVE.

I will sit in a theater and WATCH Alan Wake, more than I can say for the MGS games.

But we already knew about CD2.

No we didn't. There was only speculation by people due to the Xbox 360 theme Microsoft released last week. There was never any indication a sequel was on the way.
