Meh, the cover's alright.  I could do without the frozen child, though.  I think just something more subtle like artwork of Silent Hill frozen over and twisted would have sold the idea just fine, with maybe the frozen child somewhere in the background to complement the image (along with images of other frozen people in horrid, twisted positions).

Frankly, that would be boring, and doesn't communicate much to anyone who doesn't know about SH.  It's on Wii, so you gotta work with what this product-platform relationship entails.  I say creepy girl makes a better "opening sentence" than an icy building, cuz children resonate with people and people love children!  Oh, and I don't think there was any indication of twisted frozen townsfolk in the game, just speedy flesh humanoids.

Eternal Darkness' art... a PBS special on astrological predictions and historic documentation.  YAWN.

Man, ED's box is ugh.  Not a great sense of character to attract passers-bye in a store considering it's not riding on a known brand name.  But if you're in a GameStop, I guess the only thing your eyes can see is a big Madden cardboard prop.

With all these games including evil creepy girls, how about making a game where the player is the creepy girl and has to set up the whole scare and kill rigamarole? We never see how much work the evil spirits put into these hell-rides, could be fun to engineer them yourself.

This is completely off topic but I had to say this:

This little exchange reminds me of this radio show i used to listen to from time to time where the guys (and the one girl) used to have this gimmick; the Gay bell. Anytime someone would say something sorta gay, they'd ring the bell and it'd be this tiny little *ding* in the background. They'd often get mad at eachother and defend themselves when something didn't deserve the bell.

Once someone said something really bad and a gong sound played. Everyone felt silent until someone shouted "WTF was that!?" "That was the gay gong. You probably said the gayest thing ever on this show"
It was all very juvenile, I know, but it was still a fun show. The connection felt very real, unlike some other radio shows I've tried to listen to. They were the only other show besides Howard Stern I'd listen to, but that stations top 40 now (after being talk, ugh).. /sad

The skewed lettering on "Run" shows the scaling was messed up, just like screens from the previous week.
