Didn't they have a poker minigame in Flat Out?

Hmmm, I think I played Flat Out awhile ago but don't remember that (not saying it isn't in there though). That just looks like one of the goofy things you do in ExciteBots, it is like a minigame racer hybrid with transforming robot things.

Good online to me is having voice chat
Good online to me is having a way to see who's online
Good online means not having to go wayy out of the way to add friends

Does ExiteBots have that?  Not yet.  I mean Mario Kart had a pretty good online, but I have enjoyed XBL a lot more.

Lastly the game has no charm, it looks like a shareware game.  Personally, I'm gonna be checking out other Wii games during that time.

Thats it, thats all I have to say. Now please no more 50 posters trying to kill me. It's just how I feel. Time to take it down a notch.

I don't understand.

You know  Nintendo doesn't provide that service, yet you still complain?

If you haven't heard of Trackmania you weren't listening, that's not exactly a small franchise.
There's been only one not released on the PC, and it was on the DS. Neither of those are platforms I follow. Maybe not small, but it can't be anything major or I'd have heard of it.

Is this due to your Mario Kart addiction negating any need for another racer in your life? I could see room for both.
Sort of, though mostly it's that my backlog of games to be purchased will grow even larger if I start with the newest first.

I'll probably still be on the second cup by then, so i'll find time to play against you!
I'll add you to the list!

None of the things are there that I kinda want in this game.  SD card support
I still don't see the point in that. Do you really not have any other way to listen to music whilst you play games?

Having the sound effects is always a nice touch.  Look in excite truck it worked well and I had to do no extra.  But sd card support is a minor complaint.

If a game has individual volume settings for music and sound effects then you can just mute the game's music and still have the sound effects whilst you listen to your own music. Not all games have such an option though, which I find strange. How hard is it to implement volume control?

If Excitebots is shareware, wouldn't that make Excite Truck Shareware lite in comparison?

Yes. But at least that game didn't add bug robots.  Also their are things launch games get away with that others don't. Like ExciteTruck it will be a good game, but it won't grab me and kiss my cheek.

Not sure if this has been brought up here but Excitebots is $40 instead of $50, which I think is fantastic.

Do we know how many tracks are in the game?  (How many were in Excite Truck?)

I've been playing a lot of Mario Kart Wii lately and even with 32 tracks it's starting to get a little stale.  I need more!!
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Wow, I can't believe Excitebots is one of the few games to actually try to innovate the entire racing genre and make something new and fresh, and it is called shovelware for that very fact...and the main reason is because the bots are shaped like insects?

We have hit a new low in the gaming community when fun and creativity just doesn't matter anymore.  I knew it was already like that in the land of Xbox 360 and PS3 fans, but I was hoping Nintendo gamers still had the spark for imagination.

I guess now all we have is the DS owners.
