I beat World of goo, I almost beat all the levels in Orbient and I'm going to get the last star in Super Mario RPG. I want to play Okami but I know I can't beat that in a week.

I start school on the 20th so I'm getting the most gaming I can right now.

5 upper level college classes and a job or two so Wii and DS will collect dust until Summer...

You misunderstand the product.  It is a SD card with a rock band label that can HOLD 75 songs that you pay for from the Rock Band store and stick on there.

It doesn't come with 75 songs.

Now, on to your newly edited topic...

I miss the days of college.  I played so many MORE games while all I had to worry about was silly classes. =P

I have too many games in my backlog period, and that's BECAUSE of classes...Now I have like half a dozen games to beat before February and March, when I want to buy another 8 or so games... =(

I would hardly call :

hazard mitigation and Preparedness
Disaster Response and Recovery
Leadership and Organizational Behavior
Federal Government and Disasters
Technical Writing

"Silly classes" They are all considered CORE REQUIRED Classes for BA in Emergency management. I would love to play Disaster day of crisis during this winter break but NOOOOOOOOOOOO NOA refuses to release that game. I showed my professor of Intro to Emergency management the trailer for that game and he laughed. I wanted to play and laugh too that way I can study and play at the same time. :o ;)

Finished skool a yeer ago.  I'll be forever backlogged.

My game time isn't necessarily spent progressing through games, more like game-related hobbys.

Wait until about 8-24 months after you graduate... then you'll realize how silly they are. =P

My point is, I was super stressed during school, but now I long for those times. =P

And I work a relatively cushy 9-5 office gig... as deadlines approach it gets stressful and hours get longer, but even when there aren't deadlines I'm still beat when I get home.

But anyway, my backlog is huge too.  Right now I'm trying to finish off Dead Space so I can start something new.  I recently got about half way through Beyond Good & Evil (for the first time) and I still want to finish that.  I have Mirror's Edge and Shaun White waiting for me from Christmas.  I still haven't finished the story mode of Little Big Planet OR published a level of my own...

And all of that doesn't count the 15 or so sealed games on my shelf right now.  That includes things like Okami, Shadow of the Collossus, Fire Emblem Cube, Final Fantasy X-2, Xenosaga 1-3, Radiata Stories, and more and more... ugh.

No school for me anymore. I actually want to go back and do a few more courses, but I procrastinate like hell.

I want to play Okami but I know I can't beat that in a week.

You can. It has 30 to 40+ hours of gameplay.

I still haven't finished the story mode of Little Big Planet OR published a level of my own...

Oh, lack of time isn't the reason I finish almost no games. I just stop caring about most rather quickly, often I just end a session and never feel any desire to play another.

I've realized that to complete my backlog I would have to effectively be able to retire to sit down and do it.  Not that I couldn't do it in my free time or if I had a really good sized vacation.  In those situations I can't do it because that time feels precious and finite.  If I have a week off work I want to make the most of that week and while I likely will play games in that time it won't be my focus.  The fact that I have to go back to work however is what makes that time appear to be valuable.  If I win the lottery and can retire at a young age then free time ceases to have any real value and I could dedicate weeks to just playing videogames and I wouldn't feel like I was wasting my time.

So, yeah, I hope I win the lottery soon. ;)

I just started on my Grad school work this week. I only have one class, so it shouldn't be too bad to juggle a full time job, grad work, and gaming. My villagers in animal crossing just wont see me as much.

I don't even want to talk about it. My backlog reaches far, FAR back in time, its tendrils grasping even my Dreamcast. Wii and PS3? Least of my problems.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

My professor for Intro to Emergency management is pretty cool and I showed him the trailer for the game after class. He thought it was cool and really wanted to play it. We talked about in class how media always want to over hype the duties of an emergency manager and how much power we have and that its all action. My future job will probably be an government Bureaucrat of some kind, with no or little action. He is a great professor we watched a clip of "Volcano" and talked about how crazy that movie is, another day we watch an old school PSA for Duck and Cover.
We showed some videos of new government propaganda and how its nicer.
I wouldn't be surprised if he would bring in a Wii to show off Disaster Day of Crisis if the game ever came out. He isn't surprised it never released in America and totally understands Nintendo's fear of negative spin by media.

Alot actually. Let's see, you get the monthly social anxiety, plus the seasonal bonus. Work overtime doubles your depression. And then when you'd like to retire, your pension is jail time for the inevitable rape to slake your need for lust.

But most anime is crap and the rest isn't enough to waste much time.
