I have no idea what I will be doing New Year's Eve.

Ever since my grandmother died in 2005 we haven't felt the desire to gather with friends and family and have a party. 2006 was a great year, though, because I spent it playing Wii with S_B while we drank some wine and exploded a lot of things. 2007 was also a modest affair.

But 2008 looks to be the bleakest of them all. First, my uncle died last summer and he was one of the last members that actually threw parties, so even if they do throw a party it would be all bittersweet and depressing. Second, we didn't buy any fireworks or explosives this year so we won't be noisy this year.

Finally, my older sister is very angry with the family right now (long story short, she was being a bitch and we told her the truth), so the only ones left will be me, my mom, dad and nephew.

My only hope is trying to find people online and celebrate new year's in City Folk, but I doubt that's going to happen.

*Sigh

I've been in a downer because of this. I really love new year's eve and I really love spending it with friends and family and it looks like it won't be the case this year.

Slitting my wrists alone.

Did you send my Bullet Bill first?

typical fanboy

when heath ledger died i was like "he finished batman right?"

and cheer up pap! Not to be a douche, but everyone loses someone. Get out and have some fun. I know this is a video game forum, but alot of people just wind up trying to shrug away their problems by playing video games. Your 26, just go to some public place(maybe a bar) and meet some people. If anything just go crazy and loose yourself in the new year.

im not sure what im doing for new years

A: hang out with my brother
B: hang out with my friend dale, his girlfriend(a stripper), and her coworkers
c: drive to yuma to visit friends there
D just see what happens
E Sit in my room and not do crap

Or if you really would rather play AC:CF online, how about you head up to AnimalXing.com or some other sort of fan site. I'm sure they have a community there that are hardcore enough to celebrate New Years virtually. Hell depending on if i have to work new years day or not, i might just meet up with ya! ;)

Or you can slit your wrist like you said you would, we don't really care either way. Just don't start a snapshot thread if you're gonna do that..

I have no issue with partying with new years. Its the family the one that refuses to do anything due to a loss in the family. Besides, there aren't any cool places to spend new year's at around here.

sex is my only solid plan too actually. Theres no good parties to go to since i JUST TODAY found out my job will definately be closed New Years Day. Well, my department will be closed.. those suckers in sales are open 10 to 3 hehe ;)

So yeah, no party or nothing. I'll just spend the night with my girlfriend, have a few drinks, etc etc.

LOl. Ok I received a very supportive PM from someone and I'd like to make it perfectly clear that I'm not suffering from depression and I'm not planing any self harm in th next 12 hours. I hurt myself enough by accident.

Tell us so we can beat them up. The fact that someone cared for your well being makes me feel bad that I joked you should just slit your wrists like you said...

Meh.
