New Year's Eve plans?
« on: December 27, 2008, 02:06:45 PM »
I'm putting together a shindig with friends at the place I held the FaceBall 2000 Megafailure. Should be fun, video games, board games, great food by my wife... looking forward to it! Might even have a bit of live music, if I can manage it. If you're in the area and want to come (even if you're not?) lemme know...

Anyone else have any NYE plans to speak of?

I hope Steve comes through with those girls.

I'm hanging out with a few friends.  We haven't decided on solid plans, yet.  Last year, me and a bud hung out in the French Quarter (that's where Bourbon St is) (I'm from New Orleans, in case that last bit was confusing).  There's a party going down, but we're not sure if we'll go.  My fun will probably be directly proportional to whether or not this chick comes back from Baton Rouge to hang out with me.  It's the difference between a good time and a great time.

Tom said he will talk to the asian girls who go to his College Buddhist Club meetings. He isn't Buddhist but he belongs to that clic so maybe some asian girls.

I got a girlfriend, so I don't care about girls coming on New Years. As long as I'm with friends, getting drunk, playing some Wii I'll be happy. We might do mario kart 64 on Virtual Console and balloon battle block fort and whomever loses takes a shot. That's fun.

Maybe some crazy Cho Aniki for new years, and take a shot at every continue screen and we try to beat it.

It should be fun.
Good booze, Great friends, and Fun games to play.

Probably heading up to Chicago for a concert. 75 bucks to get in, but the concert has an open bar so everyone there is going to be getting wasted. And that, really, always makes for a great party.

Hey, I'm going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras this year. I have a pretty large room waiting for me & from what I'm told, the room is in the quarter (French? i dunno). Assuming you are of age (21) maybe we can purposely cross paths. I'll be there for 1 week for my birthday. It would be nice to meet a fellow NWRer in person

As far as New Years plans... no idea yet. Just gonna go with the flow.

I have no idea why you mentioned me, but coincidentally I've been thinking about going to Mardi Gras next year for quite sometime. I have a place to stay in the French Quarter and everything.
