I was thinking of what I read about points being reset after not being used for two years. It's been a while since I read that

I sure hope for some DSi stuff soon!

I got an invite from Club Nintendo to check out the DSi at a GameStop this Sunday. Did anyone else get any sort of message? It was mentioned to bring our favorite games to see how they played on the DSi. I'm pretty stoked, man!!

I got one, too. Unfortunately, the nearest location is about 30 miles away and I can't be bothered to drive all that way just to play with a DSi.

Nintendo doesn't reset any points. June 30 is the cutoff to reach Platinum status (600 points) for the year. Yes, you will still get free stuff on June 30. But then on July 1 your status will reset and you'll have to register another 600 points worth of crap in order to regain Platinum status.

I have also reached Platinum status, but I have not spent any of my points yet. However, I'll still need to earn an additional 600 points after July 1 in order to reach Platinum status for 2009 - 2010.

If you currently have Platinum status and you don't need the points to redeem for a prize immediately it's best to hold off registering anything until after the annual point total resets on July 1.

Remember those blank VC game surveys? Well they're not blank anymore.

I was able to do the surveys for Mega Man 3, Secret of Mana, Phantasy Star IV, and Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse. 10 coins each.

I have been Platinum status since mid-January but I have not gotten any e-mails about the GameStop event.

I reached 800 points last week when I got and registered New Play Control! Pikmin, I haven't placed my order to get Game & Watch Collection yet though. Does anybody know if that comes with a registration code?

I haven't registered Wario Land: Shake It! yet, I might save that for July so I can get the 50 points in next year's cycle.

I'm still waiting for Nintendo to bring over the exclusive Club Nintendo-only soundtrack CDs they have in Japan, as that's really the only swag Nintendo could offer on the service I'd give a damn about. I know Mario Galaxy had one, but it'd be nice if there were a Twilight Princess one as well.
