Southland Tales

What in God's name did I just watch  ???

I didn't fully understand it, and while it was interesting, I can't help but find it to be a little messy. Still, it's so thought provoking that I can't stop thinking about it.

Has anyone watched this? It's from the Director that made Donnie Darko and it's in the same vein.

EASYCURE: I remember thinking(don't ask me why) this was a blond haired, blue eyed, chiseled athlete. Like he looked like Seigfried before he became Nightmare.

So many of my friends think that movie was the second coming. And I just don't think it's that good.

Southland Tales was a piece of ****. Completely confusing and just not fun or thought provoking at all.

It's funny I hated it for all these reasons, but my friend loved it because it was confusing. He's one of those I-don't-understand-it-so-it-must-have-a-pretty-deep-and-meaningful-message-behind-it guys.

I thought the end was fantastic. The pacing, the music, but most of all, the catastrophic nature of it all was completely mesmerizing.

It probably would've made a lot more sense if the first half of Southland Tales' plot was actually part of the film and not a comic book that no one read....

We're friends now, you and i.

That movie was disgustingly bad. Only potheads and gothy/emo kids enjoy it
(In before the jokes)So me not liking it is saying alot ;) It also spawned the popularity of that god awful Tears For Fears cover, which God Of War 2 perpetuated

It's a movie I keep forgetting to rent, but I'd like to see it. I liked the overall vibe of Donnie Darko, even if I disagreed with the "twist."

If you guys want a movie that'll make you say "WTF," go watch Mulholland Drive. One of my favorite movies. I've seen it like eight times and I still don't know what the f*ck is going on.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

this movie sucks.

No amount of drugs can make this movie any good. The entire movie reeks of trying to hard.
