I had my weed returned to me once. Now THAT was a surprise.

I was high as **** (of course) in Amsterdam and I left a bag at NY-style pizza bar (why was I eating NY-style pizza in Amsterdam......couldn't resist, mate). The bus-boy ran out after us and gave me my sack back. I was sooooooo happy /craig

The story about the kid and the car is somewhat humorous and brings a smile to my face.

I've returned TONS of lost kids to their parents. I hate neglect.

Geez just a few weeks ago, on the SAME DAY, i saw two wonderful acts of neglect.

My girlfriend and i were at a strip mall walking from a shoe store to the best buy a few stores down and i noticed this little boy outside, alone in the rain with no jacket, and he was just sitting against the wall with a cold and lost look on his face. I took a few steps away as i looked around for anyone that might be his parent(s) and then walked back to him cuz i just hate seeing that sorta thing. I asked him in two languages if he was lost or anything and he didnt respond, so i wasn't sure if he even knew how to talk or at least knew english/spanish at all.

I walked away, reluctantly, though i kept turning back to keep an eye on the kid. I saw he would walk around popping his head into stores as if looking for his parents, so i went into the last store the kid looked in and told the manager there was a lost child outside, to see if he maybe saw who the parents were or whatever. There were no security gaurds or police officers around so this manager was the only person i could think of. He comes out and asks the same stupid questions i ask, and by chance some big fat slob of a woman, who looked pregnant with more kids she'll end up losing, comes out of a store pretty far off from where the boy was and starts shouting and waving him over and yelling "hey come here, you dont wanna get kidnapped do you?!?" in spanish, and in this apathetic tone that made me sick... ugh.

Later that night we're at the movies, in the lobby area having some pizza we got from elsewhere, waiting for them to let us in to the theatre, and theres a table full of about 7 kids. The eldest was probably no older than 10, and the youngest looked about 6. From what i could gather by listenign bits and peices of their conversation.. Their mom went to see a movie and left them behind to play, and they were rounded up be security when they realized they had no gaurdian around. The oldest kid couldnt remember what movie she said she was gonna see and she wasnt picking up her cell phone.

I remember working in my crappy little retail job, and then my glorious holiday job with nintendo, and if i a kid was left behind like our store was some sort of park we'd call security and in Nintendos case the freakin cops. These movie theatre rent-a-cops told the kids to sit down and play cards while they sat at another table reading the paper and drinking cofee. Then when the youngest kid started crying for his mommy, the security gaurd yelled "hey, stop crying" and thats it.

I watched everything unfold after all that too, the boy finaly got thru to the mom and found out which movie she was in, one of the gaurds escorted the oldest boy in to find her and she comes out dressed like a big fat skank (and boy do i mean FAT) and yells at the fucking kids for ruining her movie! can you believe that?

Well that is a pretty sad tale EasyCure.I am glad you intervined.

Well I help people out whenever the oppertunity presents itself.Stuff like helping people carry things to their house. I remember helping two kids bring their bikes over the fence and I waited for them to climb over. They really were not expecting that.

About three weeks ago in Elizabeth NJ which is like about 10 miles from where I live, there was this one lady that stole a kid from a local thrift store, detectives were looking everywhere for the kid after an Amber alert was posted. A few hours later they found the lady that stole the kid and the kid in Rahway NJ which is about 2 or 3 towns over from Elizabeth. The kid was unharmed and the lady got arrested for kidnapping and some other charges, the kid was reunited with his proper family later that day.

Well typically these women kidnap the young children because they don't have any kids of their own or it is revenge on the parents or something to that effect. Sometimes, like in this case, they just do it for no reason.

I found a $100 note on the floor one time when I was at High School. I was torn on whether or not to keep the money, on one hand I have morals and on the other hand I never had owned $100 note before (our ATMs only give out 20's and 50's, so basically you have to go to a bank if you want 100's). I ended up handing it into lost and found after about 5 minutes of wrestling with my conscience. I gotta say although I was losing $100, it felt good.

3 months later I got a call up to the head office, I thought I was in trouble or something, but no it was the office saying that no-one had claimed the $100 and that they were giving it to me. Later that day I used the $100 to buy F-Zero GX, awesome day.

Another instance of me doing the right thing and it resulting in something awesome happening. I had borrowed a movie from a girl at the end of year 12, I forgot to return it and then after school we lost contact. I saw her about 6 months later in a DVD store, as it turns out she was re-buying the same DVD that she had lent me. Later that night I returned it to her and she invited me in to watch the movie and then ummm.....yeah. :)

I use to rip off my school with mad trickery. I've only done it once for fear of getting faded, but I use to ask for change for a bill then in the confusion, come out with 2 bills.

The first time I did it, it was a wonderful accident. The second time........I'm guilty. But I only did to raise enough money to throw a huge party at my friends lake house.

And yes.......the party was awesome. At one point, there was even a manhunt! That was especially hilarious.

I once returned some money to someone and it made her cry. Gather 'round my friends as I tell you a tale of bravery and adventure!

This was in early August of this year. It was one of, if not the hottest day of the year so far. I was at work and walked down to street to my favorite Sushi restaurant for lunch. As I was eating my food I notice a teenager walked in, maybe about 17-19 no older or younger I'm sure. He walks up to the lady at the register and asks for change for a 20. He hurries out, and the lady goes "Sir ?" The way she said it had a bit of concern in it so I turned around to see what's up? Now this lady speaks almost ZERO english, and this is a mom and pop restaurant, with only 2 chiefs in the back. I get up to examine the money and of course the bills were fake. Now if she didn't care, I wouldn't have cared. But she looked at me with such a look of sorrow, I looked out the window to see where the guy went and I stepped out side...

The chase begins!

I said "Hey Kid!" I made sure to call him kid to make him think I was some big old man, I'm only 22, but I didn't want him thinking we were roughly the same age and he could kick my butt. When he herd me a ran across the street at the cross walk, and then I ran across the busy street of La Brea in Los Angeles with cars coming every which and way. I picked a heck of a day to wear flip flops! He saw me rounding the corner and sped off like a rabbit. I bent down behind a bush at the corner so he couldn't see me and took off the flip flops as not to make noise when I run. I ran across another street, and dashed down the block bare foot. The ground was so hot, pluss I didn't want him see me running after him because he had such a huge head start, so I ran on the grass, and in between the tress that separated the side walk and the street.
He would stop running, then start running and he did that about 2 times, but I was certain he thought I gave up the chase. I always let at least a half block separate us before I went running up to the corner
to catch up, ducking behind bushes and tress.

This went on for 10 minutes, and he kept making turns through the residential areas, but I was determined to follow him home, and then call the police. Finally I gave up that plan, I needed to get back to my food, and work, so I decided to just sneak up on him. After a full 15 minutes of almost the most awkward running I snuck up on him at a stop light. I wasn't a full foot away from him when I said "Hey mister you've gotta give that back" He turned around and looked at me like I was the devil or some evil ghost. He was stumbling over his words, and didn't know what to say. I said "give me the money or I'm calling the police" He couldn't run any where and if he tried I couldn't chase because my feet were so blistered and bloody. He reached for his pocket, and I was prepared to use all the martial arts training I ever learned to win this upcoming duel! Lucky for him, he pulled a wallet and without another word he gave me the money and sped off like a road runner! I called a friend of mine who picked me up and took me back to the sushi shop.

When I came back the lady was so happy I was ok, and when I showed her the money she started balling. Almost drove me to tears!

And thats how I got free sushi for the rest of my days!

I actually ran with my flip flops the whole way, and held them even when I confronted the guy.

PLuss I don't have to wear shoes where I work unless we are doing stunt work or teaching. Throughout the day, when I just answer questions, emails, and make orders I can have what ever I want.

I felt really good that day! It was an adventure I was waiting for. Yeah, he could have shot me, if he had a gun,  but that was the risk I was willing to take!
