Plain and simple:  You pointed fingers at the wrong one of us.  Did you know that she had told Spak her role before tonight?  Well, the thing is, he knew it first, between he and I.  He could have kept it to himself, and killed her, stopping her night action, killing a townie, and really screwing things up.  He didn't.  He eventually told me after we both tried to get each other killed so the other one wouldn't die on day one.  In the end, I'm the suspicious one, yet you went for him.  Isn't that fishy?

And now we're all going to sit around and wait for Vudu to say something before we go and do anything.  Typical.  Look, I'm after whoever I believe is most responsible for GP to die.  If Vudu set her up, I'm going after Vudu and anyone who was in on it.  If it was a single mafia hit, the stupidest decision ever, I'm after the mafia.  I'm not a townie any more.  I don't play for the townies, I don't play for the mafia.  Plain and simple.

Lots of things are fishy to me, thatguy.

Spak's inexplicable lie is fishy, as is his reasoning that it was meant to protect GP.
Your odd reverse psychology attacks are fishy.
Spak's retaliatory vote for me is fishy.
It's especially fishy that he did it before I even voted for him.

I'm just looking for answers, that's all. If you'd just answer the dang questions before you attack me, maybe I wouldn't be so suspicious of the both of you.

I will explain in Public.  As I did before.

GP is my friend.  Almost every game I have tried to help her survive past day 2 because I know what it is like to be a target.  But GP and I talk in PMs all the time and often she has played the game because I asked her join hoping it would be different this game.

I would have rather I died than GP.  GP contacted me in PM and asked what to do.  My plan was to use her ability day 1 so we can have a complete day with only 1 death and get a good start on day 2.  I believed that we can't risk losing roles to the Killer.

thatguy disagreed with my plan because at first he thought it would be more important to get the information from the Doctor, inspector and such.

The first day 1 plan worked perfectly and I began to claim credit for it...allowing GP to take a backseat from the limelight.  The Mafia could have wanted to kill me for preventing a death or to keep townies from rallying to me because I was chaos control...or that was my plan and why I exposed myself.  Then Vudu exposed himself with a plan.  I still think Vudu may have something to do with GP's death...setting a trap.

That is my reasoning behind it all.  And yes I am voting against you, because you have thrown wild accusations at me TWICE, and without even trying to varify my story with Vudu or thatguy first.  Which Vudu you should trust.  So perhaps you are trying to start an early bandwagon attack against me.

Your logic was not sound, Spak. Either you're lying, or you made a very bad decision with good intentions.

But the last thing either you OR thatguy should be trying to do, if you really are innocent, is to put off blame on the ONLY one who's proven publicly to be a townie at this point: vudu.

Add that to the list of "fishy stuff."

For now, I'm going to bed. Maybe I won't be so upset in the morning.

Spak neglected to mention that he chose to tell me about GP.  That Spak knew, we both believed we were the only ones who knew, and that he was the one who chose to tell me.  That's when I disagreed about using the power on day one.  And the reality is, Spak could have shut up about it, then killed her that night, and no one would be the wiser, as far as the game goes.  Had you known about Spak, Decoyman, then you'd know, but it's clear you didn't.  You didn't know about either Spak or I, and you certainly didn't seem to know anything about GP until tonight.  That's what's fishy.  We didn't know about you, either.  Why didn't GP mention you to either of us, if she was alright with the two of us knowing the two of us knew?

Why did I bring Vudu into it.  Because day 2 we knew he was definitely a townie.  So I PMed Vudu and told him I was a townie and who GP was and what her role is.

I did this so that Vudu would have a second person confirming who GP was so that they could begin to work together.  I wanted Vudu to have definite named townie he could trust for his plan.

I am not saying Vudu necessarily killed or set up a means to purposely kill GP.  I am saying that his plan may have accidentally killed her, and hopefully it happened for a reason to find the mafia.

As for my vote against you...I don't trust you anymore this game...unless Vudu says otherwise.

Fine fine, I'll be first. vote thatguy

I realize this risks my own life. But please consider that I am just a townie without a role. ONCE AGAIN LIKE EVERY GAME. I wanted to go ahead and take the risk of first vote. And once again like every game, thatguy is living too long and weird **** is happening. Those two things probably correlate. Post thatguy, I can probably listen to Vudu or any other guaranteed townies.

Well, I've found two mafia members.  Right now, I'm holding their names ransom to whichever side can tell me what happened to get GP killed.  Figure it out, tell me, and you get one.  Tell me the name of the person most responsible, and you get both.

I mentioned to NO ONE that I had been in contact w/ GP, until now when it no longer matters. That's kind of the point, honestly. "I blabbed my friend's secret all over town?" Why are you proud of that when it's the very thing that may have gotten her killed?

But you can bet that I noticed when Spak said he was the one who used the Chaos Control power. I figured at that point that he must have some sort of plan, and have been in contact with GP, so I sat back and watched.

You know what? Screw this. I don't have to defend myself here. You're grasping at straws, trying to deflect blame onto someone else. And it's not gonna work.

OOT: Seriously what the **** mate? She was killed by the mafia. No big mystery there. If you really have mafia identities you should be spilling them pronto and telling vudu, who we KNOW is a townie, just to save your busted arse from the vote.

Ok, I think I have proven to those that need to know I am a townie.

I have a list of players that are suspicious they include:

thatguy, mario, Decoyman, maxi, and Easycure.

I do not know who to vote for yet...but right now Decoyman is my vote until I here otherwise from Vudu.

Spak:
I kind of want to believe that – horribly flawed logic aside – you really did have good intentions behind your lie about the Chaos Control power yesterday.

You know what... vote for me if you want. Go ahead and take out another plain ol' townie. It'd just prove to others what I suspected: that – regardless of your official role â€“ you're causing more harm than good for the townie cause by being around. :(

Decoyman:  My vote is not final.  I am waiting to hear from someone to vouche for you.

As you know often votes change late in the day all the time in Mafia and my vote may change.  But as it is, you have no worries as the bandwagon seems to be against thatguy.

HOLY HELL GUYS

The name vudu has been typed 25 times so far in this thread.  I don't have all the answers.  I don't even have most of them.

I had nothing to do with GP's death.  I didn't mention her name or her role to anyone besides thatguy and Spak (who both bought it up first) and the other members of the townie alliance.  Since she was the least powerful members of the alliance, it doesn't add up that she was killed by someone within the alliance.  I think it was just an normal hit by the mafia hoping that she had a good role.  In all likelihood, Spak's lying in day 2 probably inadvertently increased the chances that GP would be killed, but it's hardly damning evidence about his true intentions.

Honestly, I can't even fathom how I could have "set up" GP to trick the mafia.  However, I do have one bit of round-about reasoning that might help us extract some information about GP's death.  The mafia did not know GP's role.  To prove my theory, let's pretend the opposite is true--that they were aware she was Chaos Control.  If this is the case, they would be able to reasonably assume she'd be a part of the townie alliance that was formed yesterday.  You might argue that they would want to kill her to reduce the size of the alliance.  While this is true, I think they would get more bang for their buck by killing me instead.  Not only would I be part of the alliance, I'm also a proven townie, which is more effective at leading the normal townies than anyone else.  If the mafia's goal was to kill someone from the townie alliance, they would have killed me last night.

Now, if this theory is true, that absolves thatguy, Spak and decoyman from the list of mafia suspects.  (Can anyone back up decoyman's claim that GP told him her role before she died?)  Full disclosure:  I have to admit that there are two other possibilities for the hit on GP.  The first is that the attack on her was personal, in which case that could over-ride any other motives.  The second is the mafia could someone have come up with this convoluted thinking before I did and plan this whole thing out before hand.  Both are unlikely, but they are possible.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Ok.  Well Vudu, my thinking was that you could have switched roles with GP and other another townie in your PM plan for an alliance in hope to try and fish out a Mafia member hidden in the alliance.  It is a plan that both Khush and thatguy would have done, and truthfully would have been brilliant.

But since you did not do that, then I will take your word...and thank you for backing me up.  I have unvoted Decoyman awhile ago.

Right now the 3 names I am most suspicious of are: Maxi, thatguy, and easycure.  For full disclosure thatguy believes Maxi and easycure are mafia...so that is why they are suspicious, but obviously if thatguy is mafia then the others may not be.

Why am I trusting thatguy?  I told him if he had anything to do with GP's death I will not work with ever again in mafia.  He has promised me he has nothing to do with it...and I think because of my boldness to find the reasoning to GP's death to defend himself and his honor he has gone kinda crazy.

Is thatguy safe for townies right now.  YES, I believe they are.  I believe the townies should not vote him out.
