I don't buy this. The reasoning isn't good enough for me. I still think Pale is the one we should go after.

What, he didn't send Vudu a message? I didn't at first, either. I only sent him a message when I had a question for him. If Mr. Jack is suspect, then I should be too.

I've already shared this with several people via PM, so I might as well put it here for the record.

There are only two people who did not respond to my PMs--Mr. Jack and Mario. Mario hasn't even played the game yet, so Mr. Jack is more of a threat in my mind.

Not only is ignoring my PMs suspicious, it is dangerous to the townie alliance. My role list was popualted by people PMing me. If by some small chance Mr. Jack has a role and one of the members in the alliance is a fake it's best to find out immediately. By killing Mr. Jack today not only do we target someone who is acting suspicious, but it also lessens the chance that we'll have a traitor in our midst for an extended person of time. (For example, if Mr. Jack turns out to be the cop that would let the townie alliance know that the cop in their group is a fake.)

The quicker we find out Mr. Jack's role the better because it will eliminate what little doubt there is that the list I have has an error. Even if Mr. Jack were to PM me and tell me he's XYZ role, it's a moot point now. The list has already gone out so the traiter is among us. We have to kill at least one of the players claiming to have the same role, so it might as well be the one who didn't receive the list I sent.

I'm flat out going to say it: Mr. Jack is the killer. I think we should cut a deal and change our votes. If we get him to target whoever we want him to, then we'll be able to get through this faster, and if he acts up, then we'll simply vote him out. We don't tell him any roles, just a single target a day. Got a stale player, like Mario? That's a solution. I say we change the vote and make an ally.

Why will he be a mafia target? both sides know who he is...and he doesn't know who the Mafia is...so we can't be sure to not hit townies.

It reminds me of the parable about nursing a viper back to life. You try to make a deal with it and protect it and then it kills you in the end.

We know Mr Jack is the killer...or possibly the Mafia trying to protect himself...make a deal and allow the townies to screw up votes.

I can't agree with thatguy on this play.
