I was a little stumped on that one too, bosshogx. Then I accidentally discovered that if you star punch people when they are doing a pose, it is an instant knock down With that in mind, it made it quite a bit easier to perform those KOs with only a few punches.

Without a doubt.
All the other boxers were either slow, or had wide movements which made them easier to defeat whether at first or after one training session. I've got his pattern down, but his short movements with speed and power are giving me problems, and for me it looks like I'm going to have to increase my eye-hand coordination response which could mean a bit more of training.

I got this game today in the mail, as it looks like the Post Office doesn't work on saturdays anymore(well atleast not last saturday).

I almost thought I was about to breeze through the first circuit until I got beat down by King Hippo. Thats when I decided to open the instruction manual and actually look at the controls. After a few exhibition matched against King Hippo, fucked him up in the second round with like 1:30 left.

Started knockin people out left and right, with a small hiccup on Great Tiger, but my ego got checked at Don Flamenco. I don't know why I couldn't get his timing down, but he was helping me find a comfortable spot on the ring floor to take a nap. I must have restarted the 1st round about 10 times before I decided I was ready to fight him for real, and we went all the way till the 3rd round where I won by KO with about 1:00 left on the clock.

Have to take a break because all this punching in my hot as house is making me sweat.
Now I'm off to go handle the Big Boys, starting with Aran Ryan.

I was thinking about throwing in some balance board support too, but its just to hot for all that movement.
I'll save that for when my sister wants to play and I need a good laugh.

One thing that doesn't seem right though.
If I come into the 1st circuit and there are already 4 people in it, one with the title belt, shouldn't I be ranked #5 and not #4?
wouldn't the title holder be ranked #1 and the 3rd person under him be ranked #4? cause that would make me, the "new comer" #5 as in the 5th person.

In Pokemon it is the Elite 4 and the Champion.

Anyway Punch Out!! is awesome.

I didn't realize that playing punchout was really working me out.
Now I'm glad I didn't do any balance board dodging.

It's awesome this way. Burns actual calories as opposed to playing a PC FPS.

You've noticed by now, that for the motion controls to work effectively (timely) you'd have to react and move your arms as fast as Mac and usually in sync with Mac. Those quick alternations made my biceps sore the next day.

But I didn't PANCH-OUT yesterday, was too busy owning biker fags in Mario Kart. 4-Reggie Gang Assaut ftw.

I'm lovin this game. The challenge of one boxer at a time. And I take my time to make sure the fight is going my way.

I just beat Soda Popinski for the 1st time and in the 1st round with only 17seconds left.

damn my arms are sore.

Damn, I just beat Title Defense Don Flamenco, so I guess this isn't of much use to me anymore. Oh well, cool that you can do it though.

I do use that delayed punch technique often, but never realized with a set pattern you could take it that far.
