I don't care for S&P2 but there's a lot of interesting stuff there. Too bad none of it is getting released in Europe soon...

Some very interesting stuff for next year.

Super punch out and Sin and Punishment 2 are straight on my buy list I think.

That sword game looks interesting and surprisingly gory for a Nintendo published game.

Spawn smashers looks fun if perhaps shallow.

Is Cosmic Walker just Blue Ocean in space?

Pretty good reveals overall I'd say.

Ok, was that Street Fighter IV or another Street Fighter game?!

How come it wasn't included in the 2009 line up?

Nintendo has done it again, I'm exited to be a Wii owner!

Stop embarrassing yourself Silks. It's rubbing off on the whole site.

Also is Nintendo fair dinkum about Punch Out? I mean, really.... it's fucken punch out. It wasn't good to begin with and it won't be good now.

Alright I actually do think it's time to lay off Silks, guys.  While it is somewhat fun to see him look foolish for ranting about non-games and non-gamers for about 3 months straight and making crazy predictions about Nintendo becoming a casual-only company, only to have a small conference in October just destroy such notions, I think he realizes that at this point, whatever bluster or bravado he puts forth.

He's had enough.

I thought Carmine, Nick, and several of the other new hires were doing a find job keeping the Nintendo...

Not that the rest of the people don't...

Endless Ocean 2 - I wonder what can they do with it that they didn't do in the first one? There is a lot they can do, like sharks actually attacking you, etc. but I really doubt that will happen.

Dynamic Slash = Project H.A.M.M.E.R.? (instead of a hammer we get a sword)

Space Walker - I think this could be like a survival game. Your space ship is almost without power and you have to get back to Earth, or it could be like Endless Ocean

What do you guys think?

Hmm, don't forget that Project HAMMER was an NST game, and Dynamic Slash looks decidedly Japanese to me, but you could still be right.

I have a strong suspicion that Space Walker will be like Endless Ocean, not an actual game per say... at least that's what it looks like to me.

Hmm last time I checked, I wrote this little piece about how Nintendo HASN'T abandoned the hardcore. I even ended the post with:

"Don't jump ship just yet; there is still plenty to see."

There is still plenty of Nintendo in Nintendo World Report.

Also, Silks admitted his mistake and has clearly backed off of the platform he once stood strong on. It's time to cut the guy a break, because honestly, ripping on him is getting pretty damn old.

What do you guys think?

1)  More interaction; potentially a deeper story mode...
2)  Dynamic Slash is being developed by Sandlot (Earth Defense Force)
3)  I'd have to see more footage...Looks like an Adventure, though...

1) More interaction is what I ment with sharks eating you. I really don't see anything else that can be done interaction wise. Have you ever dived yourself? Endless Ocean is a really good simulator, at least with the fish. You can feed them, touch them, they'll follow you around and you can take pictures. Thats about what you can do in reality...Maybe use your knife to kill some and then a cooking minigame.

2) So its a new game, thats good! Where is Project H.A.M.M.E.R. then?

3) Yeah, just guessing on my part. But think about it...another adventure game? It's about time Nintendo tries the survival type games, it could have potential. Imagine something like Metroid without the shooting O.o

Oh CRAP, scratch that!  I just noticed that Endless Ocean 2 will have stuff that takes place IN THE AMAZON RIVER!

The fish below are the Pirarucu and Red-bellied Piranha, found only in the Amazon!

Endless Ocean could be Nintendo's Madden and I'd buy it every year. Change ocean area every year and a 'story' or legend and I'm sold.

Can't wait for Endless Ocean: The Bermuda Triangle
