For the Wii version of Animal Crossing, it's possible to swape data over the DS version and use Miis in-game. The debuted-at-E3 Wii Speak gets a November 20th sale date in Japan for ¥7,800 (US$74).

"A new series of software is coming out called "Let's Tap." It's games like Pikmin that were released on GameCube, adapted for play on Wii. Hopefully this is not the Pikmin 3 Miyamoto referenced at E3 2008. If so, we will hang ourselves."

Aptly put.
