Exactly. And don't forget Babich at the helm as the D Cordinator. Given that he made no adjustments to the Cover 2 after the first half, nor the last play after another half of Ryan dominance, I'm starting to believe the man has a serious learning disability.

Wow, the Bears D ALMOST figured out a way to let the Vikings back in after Kyle Orton and the Special Teams threw up 48 points. I'm going to have a heart attack if this crap keeps up much longer.

In other good news, BUF stomped SD and my QB replacement for Romeo threw up 261 yards with one TD, waahooo!!!

WTF, is this bizarro world? The Bears were supposed to be the team with an amazing defense and Godawful offense. This year they're the polar opposite, but still giving their fans heart attacks in the same "Oh my God, I just know they're going to screw this up" manner.

The Browns losing by 3 to the Redskins would have felt a lot better before what happened to both those teams last week.

It looks like ESPN is reporting that Nolan will be fired as the Niners head coach following the Seattle game, with Mike Singletary filling in for the remainder of the season. Not too surprising to be honest. He's is his fourth year and the team hasn't changed much at all.

The worst part is that we actually have some talented players (Gore, Willis, Lawson, and Clements) that might leave us by the way we are being coached. Man, I hope not. Hopefully the team will pay Mike Holgren to take the reins and make us a contender again.

Don't forget that Singletary has recently been considered for head coaching jobs. Atlanta interviewed him, but the reported knock on him was lack of head-coaching experience. This looks like it may be his golden opportunity.

Looks like they wasted no time in making that call. Looks like Singletary is the new HNIC in San Fransisco. Hopefully this will cause a St. Louis like revival in the team. *crossing fingers*

The key with Singletary is that, from what I've heard, players like to play for him. On the flip side, I'm sure many of the Niners players thought that Mike Nolan was a jerk. Just the fact that he wore suits on the sidelines probably made most of his players gag.

Hey Greg, did you make it to the Saints game? I have no idea how far you are from London, but it looks like the NFL put on a decent show this year, not too shabby. I was just glad to see SD come up short again.

The Browns won, the Steelers lost, and I jumped into first place in my fantasy league. The only way this week could have been better is if the Ravens had lost too.

I hope Atlanta enjoyed their bye week vs. Oakland.

I love the spin that the Oakland coaching staff puts on JaMarcus Russell. They told Fox that they "keep the offense simple" so that Russell doesn't "overthink and get lost in the details".

Hint: if your QB gets "lost in the details" when he's playing a position that is 100% detail-oriented, you drafted the wrong guy. That usually means "He was a better athlete than everybody else in college so he could win without really learning the playbook, and now that he's in the NFL he lacks the discipline to do so.". My Niners beat the Bye this week 35-17! It wasn't as close as the score would indicate. The Niners were up 35-7 with six minutes left to go. Then we went into a prevent defense and gave up large chunks of yards in exchange for time off the clock. Of course, who would have guessed that JTO would fumble on a kneel down which allowed the Bye to kick a field goal. Good overall games from Willis, Gore, and the Offensive Line giving Shaun Hill time to throw against the porous Bye defense.

Let's keep that momentum going into Arizona!

Well the Browns lost because the defense started playing as badly as they were supposed to play this season but Quinn looked really good. He's the future of the franchise and after seeing him play tonight I'm very confident in that future.
