Well this is a super bump because I get to deal with house problems the past few days during a pandemic.   What fun. :rolleyes: Yesterday morning the toilet started leaking and it has been a trial going into the 2nd day. Basically we had to soak up all the water from the bath room into the hallway to the spare bedroom and into my room which is right next to the spare bedroom.   We turned off the water in the middle of the day yesterday and got all the water out of the bathroom and the hallway and two bedrooms and to the outside while using any blankets, sheets, pants, jeans ect. Got buckets out with mops and the swiffer out and got all the water out to the stone front yard. We had to cut off the water and do our business while the toilet was filling up. Everything seemed fine until this morning where after sealing it around the base of the toilet when it was dry last night.  We tried to use a snake tool to help with the toilet but it later on caused the toilet to slightly over fill.  So today is the 2nd day where we have to soak up water again and now it has once again reached my room and the adjacent room. Landlord has been called and we are awaiting a response.  Just what I needed during this time.

Anyway I went to Wal-Mart and they had a wet-dry vac so at least I am not going to be swamped with water all at once.

Even though I went for the joke earlier, I get how "crappy" that situation would be and I know a "leak" can be a real pain to fix. It's a miserable situation whenever you are trying to capture and dry all that water to keep it from warping stuff or creating future mold. So I feel bad for you on that front. On the plus side, at least you've also got the help of your mom. Otherwise, "urine" it alone.

Typical. The plumber came today. Still here and working on things. Staying in my room while he works.  F this virus and this whole week.  He fixed it and the leak was coming from the back of the toilet and then he showed me the kitchen pipes and said something about the pipes being reversed or something and the inside the pipes were all black and everything and disgusting. he showed me a rag that he is to get all the gunk out all the black gunk and it was like totally all cut it in that black substance so yeah it was really backed up.
