So i was looking forward to playing this game with you guys this weekend, if any one was available, but i can't seem to get my wii online. That is, i can't get online using my neighbors wi-fi connection ;) I have the lan adapter and an ethernet cable as back up but its such a pain to set up. Luckily my phone's browser is actually more suitable than my PC so having that disconnected will be no big deal.

I guess you'll have to put in the effort if you want to play with us. Trust me, we're worth it.

Is anyone going to play this game today?

There's a bug-off happening today though by my time it has just an hour left.

The price of turnips is $115 if anyone has any they need to unload before the day ends.

Last night I finally caught the elusive tarantula! The first one I stumbled upon didn't see me, so I sneaked up to it... but then I made the mistake of pulling my net out when I was within its line of sight, so I think you know what happened. The second one I saw ran into a pond... I'm pretty sure it can't swim... So I guess what they say is true, the third time's a charm!

On another note, I'm not really liking any of the hairstyles in this game. The one I have now is okay so I guess I'll just stick with it until I feel like experimenting again.

That's why bedhead is the best doo! :)

If I don't work tomorrow I'll probably be on for a little bit after 11PM Pacific.

My time is off again so I should have some time to catch some bugs for the tournament. Though I already won the last one so I may just prefer to sell my rare bugs for bells.

Missed the bug tourney this weekend due to Real LifeTM so I have a bunch of rare bugs stashed away... I'm considering a giveaway (their bell's worth at least) in some of mini-game format, so let me know if you're interested in some free money!

Actually had a good week with turnips, the highest for 161, I made a nice tidy profit.

After donating the 1 million bells, I decided to go with the windmill, since I had a lighthouse in the 'Cube version of AC by default. Plus its good for the enivronment or something...

Yeah, RLTM got the better of me as well. I'm tempted to time warp back to see what Nook was selling and what-not.

I've only played with the both of them (together) once and i don't think they sound anything alike. Maxi has a pretty distinct voice IMO, whereas Stratos sounds like every zaney friend i've ever had. They both sound younger to me than they really are though.

GP is right that I am a bit shy and adorable.

Well, it should be noted that I'm partially deaf in one ear so I can't discern sounds as well as someone with good hearing. Especially low-quality electronic voices.

The strong silent type I think. But don't try to change that because it's why I like you.

Looks like the guys in my town have been hit with the fashion bug and want me to style them up. Thing is, every piece of clothes I give them, they turn away. They even turn away Gracie originals! After that, I simply refuse their requests. I make styles that hopefully people like, but I'm not a mind reader...

LOL at sounding like EasyCure's zaney friends. I am pretty zaney  ;D

@Dj
When do you want to hook up? I still need to give you back your clover. You should come over soon. I have a lot of palm trees and I find a lot of 8k beetles in them for the taking. Pretty nice.

We totally have to play together with our bedheads and drive the girls crazy.

I'll admit maxi sounds shy but i can't say he's adorable. Not my type ;)

I'm still having trouble getting my wii online so our bed-head-torture-the-girls party will have to wait.

on to a more serious game related subject...

I've noticed that fossils have been very hard to come by lately. When i used to play daily, i'd get my three fossils and a couple of those droid things every single day. Now after picking the game back up after months of not playing.. i see none! Actually, today i played it (3 straight days in a row, woo!) and only came across ONE stinking fossile, and it was something i already had. I thought i found more but i dug up to droids instead. The past few days, i couldn't even find these though and every X i came across turned out to be a pitfall!

is this something that happens when you go absent for too long? Has anyone else had this problem?

I think it just happens from time to time. Plus some of the holes are hidden behind trees and buildings where you almost can't see them. And even more recently, I miss them in areas of dirt where the X blends in with the ground well.

I hope you can get online soon, Easy, I like playing Conduit with you too.
