Blast Works is the kind of thing I would definitely buy if it were WiiWare but as a full game I'm a lot less likely to get it. I think it looks really interesting but simple. Oh well, I said the same thing about Geometry Wars and ended up buying it anyway.

I ended up missing out on Geometry Wars, which I'm told is very very awesome. T_T I will be there on day one for Blast Works though!

I'm pretty sure you could find a copy of Geometry Wars now if you wanted to.

Yep, GW is still available everywhere.

BW would probably fit into Wiiware. At least they're giving it pretty good online features according to Gamespot, even with web interaction so you can mark things for downloading from your PC and the Wii will download them.

I read about that, it's a great way to get around the limitations of Nintendo's online setup.

I got Chocobo's Dungeon: Toki-Wasure no Meikyuu for the Wii. Was going to pick up Opoona, but I spent too much on kanji learning games which are really cheap getting now than getting in the import. I'll be playing it on Tuesday. Tomorrow is my flight out. :(

The more I look at this years offerings of Wii games the more I realize that this is one of Nintendo's BEST years yet.

Wii Fit
Super Mario Kart Wii
Okami
Boom Bloks
World of Goo Wii Ware
Lost Winds Wii Ware
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Wii Ski (With Balance Board will be awesome)
Sam & Max (Wii Ware)
Eternity's Child (Wii Ware)
Iron Chef (Ok I hope this will be good.)
de Blob
Deadly Creatures

Oh, and anything Else Nintendo will be releasing in the fall and winter not yet announced.

Basically, this year has HUGE 3rd party support, great Wii Ware games, and a good list of core games and non-gamer games.

This year really rocks for Nintendo.

DAaaman:  I was focused on what wasn't out already.

And what exactly is on my interest list.

I know there are tons more games available as well.

Needs more RPGs.

Square-Enix and the DS to the rescue!  Between The World Ends With You, Final Fantasy IV, and (hopefully) Dragon Quest IV, I'm set for the year!
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

not if you only play the DS when you are away from the Wii. I agree there needs to be more RPG's for the Wii but I have faith that the good ones are yet to come and haven't been announced yet because they are waiting till they are ready to blow us away.

I do hope that somewhere along the lines I can find the time, and money, to pick up a few more games for the Wii, cuz lately I have been spending most of my time playing Wii Play and not much else.

Coming from the guy who bought Obscure II, that doesn't mean much.

Before this be blowin' up into east coast vs. west coast BEEF, Obscure II was fair to middlin' and worth thirty bucks if you're in the mood for survival horror.

It's not like I bought Bug Island

One player's crappy game may well be another player's treasure. Sure, you should take reviews into account, but you may end up enjoying a game that most other people hate.

Take Star Fox Adventures, my all time favorite game for the GameCube, most people seam to think it was trash.

oh here goes the SFA debate again. SFA wasn't trash, it was okay. But it was littered with frustrating easy to understand but hard to execute timed puzzles.  Flight missions were balls too
