TS2 was amazing, but TS3 was pretty mediocre, wasn't it?  I remember it getting only so-so reviews.

Maybe it did. I don't recall, I liked the 1 player as usual. I didn't play multi player on that one as much because my friends didn't buy TS3.

Unfortunately, I have played too little too long ago to remember...I hear the single-player was pretty awful, but then again so was TS2's... ='D

Yeah, but TS2 had the sick multiplayer.

TS2 will always hold a spot in my heart because of what me and a buddy called "The Magic Belt".  50 Cent's "Magic Stick" was the huge song at the time we were playing it, and we'd always say that whoever won a match would have "The Belt".  After one particularly sweet victory, I started mocking my friend by singing, "I got the Magic Belt/I'll kill you once, I'll kill you twice...", and a legend was born.

He won the last match we played (which was years ago now), and to this day he still reminds me that he currently holds The Magic Belt.  It really burns me, because he doesn't game much but was still able to score some pretty sweet victories over me.

I keep urging him to get a 360 and NHL 09 (he's a huge hockey fan), but really it's of a bigger plan to regain The Magic Belt at some point in the future in head-to-head combat.

The ultimate multiplayer party game was (actually, it still is!), hands-down, VIRUS...It is so bloody hilarious to just run away, run into a friend, then have a shoot-out that ends up with the dying party respawning right in the middle of a pack of spastic infected bots...Sometimes we might even work together and try and hold a fort down as the infected try to swarm it... :tpg:

I liked Future Perfect a little better than TS2 but both are rad, hell I still think both of them are more fun than 90% of other FPS games out in the market.

TS2 and 3 weren't significantly different which was great I thought. IIRC they incorporated some vehicle modes into the TS3 multi and that was pretty fun, providing those epic Halo-like arenas without the terrible Halo weapons and controls.

I sort of disagree with you there nick while on the surface there isnt much changed except for the refined story they tightened up the controls quite a bit and made the usual refinements.

man TimeSplitters brings back a lot of memories.......I haven't played the game in years and about a few months ago a co-worker brought it in to work and we played some matches during our breaks.  I thought I would have to get used to the controls and everything again but wow, I picked it up and played it like I've been playing it all my life.  Needless to say I creamed everybody, halfway into the match i had to ease up or people wouldn't have had any fun.

As for the TS4, should it just go multiplatform?  I mean wasn't all of the others multiplatform?  I'm sure if it was exclusive to one system it would be far more polished though.  I'd like to see it on PC for the first time though (mods, level creator are better suited for PC).  I'd love to tinker with a more advanced level creator this time around.

Damn Wii should be winning. I freaking love that game. But come on, that's a close enough percent all around that it should just be multi platform.

If the poll means anything the game is coming to the Wii since it won the first time around and is tied for the lead now.

They probably lost the results for the first time, and just decided to repoll. -_^

I enjoyed Time Splitters 3 much more than 2.

My favorite game was the Assault with 2 or 3 friends, and putting all the enemies as Leo Krups or the Dinosaur.  There is just something super funny about watching those characters die over and over...Assault could be made insanely difficult to, providing a huge challenge.

Time Splitters biggest weakness to me was the Art Direction, I could just never get past the character models.  They felt like play doh to me.  Or something like that.

Anyway, TS4 is on my watch list, I desperately hope it is for the Wii, because the developers really know how to focus on fun first when designing a game.

TS has always had a great art style. I just wish it was a little more over the top. I hope the animations are unique and hilarious to each character. Like if I shoot someone in the foot, I hope they would yell and hop around.
