Poor Ninja Bread Man
« on: September 23, 2007, 10:03:18 PM »
It is so awfully disheartening that a gem like Ninja Bread Man will be overlooked because of Halo 3. If Halo 3 wasn't coming out on the same day I think Ninja Bread Man would have been a 2 million+ unit seller. I mean how can you resist playing a Ninja who is a Bread Man? So let's all gather together in a circle and give a moment of silence for this diamond that will be shattered by the giant hammer that is Halo 3. Only Kairon can salvage some of its dignity.

UPDATE

Ninja Bread Man has been pushed to next week, looks like we may have a big hit still, though Halo 3's momentum could still crush the Ninjabread Man and gobble him up.

This game is currently NOT on my gaming budget. But since they delayed Endless Ocean... maybe...

Halo 3's coming out?  Geez, that came out of nowhere.  They really should advertise for the game or something.  It will probably help sales.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Care to explain how that makes the game look bad?  To me, it looks like a fast paced platformer with some simple combat.

It looks terribly simplistic, with a very clunky moving and camera system.

After looking a Galaxy, I don't see how anyone cannot see that.

psh.  You guys are just too stuck up to look at the good things right in front of you.  It's a budget title, it doesn't have to offer a revolution to be good, it just has to be fun.

The game looks...passable, though definitely uninspired except for the Ninjabread man himself.

This game will probably suck, but I still want it. Why you ask? Because I believe in the promise of a Ninja Bread Man 2.

GP, you were dead wrong. Not only has Ninjabread Man not gotten overshadowed by Halo 3...

But it has SOLD OUT.

Hopefully my copy that I ordered online isn't one of the things that'll have to wait for a second batch. They already had Carnival Games backordered when I put in my order for that...
