Yes, I am an NSider "refugee", however, I am just surfing the net, to see which forums will suit me best. And this forum is the first one I'll see if I'm active in. Only really good forums kinda attract me into being active.
Anyway nice to meet'all and if anyone here was an NSider, my username was IZCZNIM64.
Sadly, their forums are never going to come back. They said they are trying to drive the success of DS and Wii and support it. But what I REALLY think is that there were a lot of hardcore fans that only was on the forums. And many of the posts were not "user-friendly" or "family-oriented" or "safe". Nintendo seems to believe everything has to be locked and preserved. They limit their users and players with friend codes and now ability to express our opinions and reflections of their products. It's ridiculous.
What Nintendo don't get is, they are putting too many rules rather than being relaxed and carefree. There is a huge barrier that Nintendo has put up, it needs to be broken down.
Closing that forums was a big mistake, and a big disappointment. Sure, there were really bad and idiotic forumers, but there were many good ones also. Now we're unable to relate and communicate with fellow Nintendo fans through official Nintendo.com. Like friend codes, they again limit us from playing and interacting with the world.
Way to go, Nintendo.
On the other hand (sorry I get carried away when I type out my feelings), I think I might enjoy it here!
