No, you're thinking of Gummi Berry juice, and that's once per day for humans.

You have to remember each character can only do one per match.  When Samus becomes Zero Suit she becomes a completely different character.  That's why she can use it again because she's not Samus anymore, but after Zero Suit uses her Final Smash to turn back into Samus she won't be able to become Zero Suit again because Samus is now unable to do the Final Smash since she already used it once to become Zero Suit in the first place.

Has anyone considered the possibility that Sakurai meant Final Smashes could only be used once per smash ball? That makes the most sense to me.

Yes, I registered just to say that.

Actually, Pit does two Smash Attacks in this video... same life too:

http://www.gamespot.com/video/928518/

Again, I'm also really, really hoping that the frequency of Smash Balls was increased simply for demo purposes and this isn't reflective of the "default" setting in the final game.

I wouldn't be surprised if you can regulate the rules of the Smash Ball, like turn it on/off, limit to 1 use or more. Everything about the game seems pretty flexible.

I think that sort of clenches it.  Whenever a Smash Ball appears I'm just going to forgo it and pound whoever going for it hopefully to a pulp.  Some of the Final Smashes really don't seem that effective.  Take Pit's as a good example.  It looks cool to summon his army but they are really inept.  Might be good for edge guarding but they don't really seem like the decisive move.  Then you have Samus's which is uber-powerful or Sonic's which doesn't seem overly powerful BUT he literally flies around the stage.  Which makes it really hard to smash him out or, if you want, reach.  I'm slightly  worried that in a way of balancing the really powerful Final Smashes they'll gimp the regular fighting and vice versa.  Effectively making guaranteed tiers in tournaments.  Which I know Smash_Bros would love.

In one of the vids you see one of the Centurions KO one of the players all by itself, and the player didn't have that high of a % to begin with...

Looks like they really improved Bowser.  His moves look very effective this time and combined with the fact he can become Giga Bowser for his Final Smash he's already looking to one of the top tiers this time.

I say he's been doping.

Or a mix of both considering projectiles in Smash could be considered both physical and special attacks...

Sonic is a Captain Falcon clone.

It's apparent Sonic would have a fighting chance only if he was modeled after the greatest warrior in the Universe.

Now I fear Nintendo has ruined the game by not including Captain Falcon.  Cuz they like giving bad-finger to traditional gamers like that.

In the two new IGN videos did you guys noticed that Bowser seemed bigger than before? I think his size was altered for his Brawl appearance, which may or may not be a good thing. It does make him an easier target...

I just don't think it's reasonable to balance a character around the notion that the character is incomplete without the benefit of an external source.

I just saw the Bowser videos on IGN and DAMN did they give the big lug some love. I love his toward+B move because it not only allows him to slam players but it can be a guaranteed kill if you're willing to sacrifice yourself.

And his moves are DEFINITELY faster, and we know Brawl is slightly slower so it looks like they buffed the hell out of him. Maybe there's hope for the heavies in this game after all...

Yes, he's bigger, and yes he's a bigger target, but considering most of his moves use his body as the weapon, I think it might just balance out.

Well considering that some of Bowser's special moves may give him "super armor" for their duration, and that being bigger will probably increase his range, I think he may be okay.

Personally though I think Bowser should have "super armor" on at all times making him kind of like The Juggernaut in the Vs. series, I could cause some damage with that guy back in the day.

If Ridley is a selectable character I think I may make him my main just because.

Interestingly enough is the fact that if you buy the first diorama in MP3 you can notice that Ridley is really not that much bigger than Samus, at least in his prime version, but that is only interesting if you think that Ridley is too big to be selectable.

From what people here have observed, do moves appear to be doing less damage than they did in the past or do heavier characters seem to take less damage?
