I remember Nintendo themselves saying "theres always a Zelda in the works, we finish one we go to the next one", so this change in their non-speak, however small, is disheartening, it really starts to look like Miyamoto feels Zelda is a chore that he has to put out for the old fanbase but he'll rather do something else. And they should let him go to his other projects if thats the case, Aonuma is more than capable, unless Aonuma also feels the same, which will leave me crying.
Yeah but I thought Zelda: TP was ruined and lacked polished because it had Wii controls implemented, which Aonuma had a dastardly hand in. AT least I remember a certain someone saying that.
I don't know what has to do with my post but...
I NEVER said the game lacked polish.
I've NEVER blamed Aonuma, he rocks and had no choice, I didn't believe in his explanation and I've always blamed Nintendo's excecs, if anything, I guess Iwata, maybe Miyamoto, but I rather keep that in a more general sense, money was the reason, not controls or "Zelda is getting stale" excuses.
My knee reaction to the news of the port was something not seen before from me, thats for sure, but I don't recall calling the game "ruined" either, my problem was that this was a cheap thing to do, but I never said the GC original or even the wii port would be "unplayable" or anything close to that, just that it was mediocre, average, merely "ok", in other words, not the quality you expect from a Zelda game.
in case you were talking about me... you never know
