That is the most annoying thing about the transfer.  I mean how difficult would it have been for nintendo to have made a dive move in D/P? I mean they still have flash in D/P.

I also have to use the move deleter to get rid of HM's on several of my pokemon in the GBA games.  Had to get rid of fly off my rayguaza.

Ok, if you have fire red, or leaf green then the move deleater is in Fuchsia City. The house, to the left of the pokemon center.

Know what I miss?  The speedy-uppy option in Pokemon Stadium on the N64.  It made grinding your pokes up so they could partake in the Ultra Mega Super Cup less of a hassle.
Not just flowers,I love them all like weeds and     veget

I have a question in regards to the day-care centre, if the pokemon that I left there has the 4 technique slots full and as it levels up will it not learn a new technique when it reached the level needed to learn that technique? or will it just skip it?

The top move will be erased to make room for whatever new move the pokemon wants to learn.  And yes, that includes HMs, so if you haven't gotten to the move deleter yet, and you don't want something to know an HM move, let it learn something through the daycare.

It basically just pushes the moves up a space, coming in at the bottom, shoving the top move away.

Really enjoying this game. Just got my 7th Gym badge, and trying to get my pokedex filled so that I can import from Sapphire. One of the things that I have done is just catch like an extra Geodude and teach it an HM and never level it up. I have a box in my computer named HM so I can keep track of all of the pokemon that I have given HMs to.

So it turns out the Elite four are jerks:  Stat raising moves plus Full Restore = cheap, but efficient battle strategy.

I hope by the time I get there I will be tough enough to beat them without much hassle, I've got 7 badges and on my way for the 8th so I'm not too far off.

How about this for something crazy:  I keep putting up Lickitungs for various D/P legendaries, and getting them back in return...

I still haven't beaten it yet.  I've made it to the third one w/o items.  I've just traded around to get a Lickitung, which I turned into several.  All-in-all, I've gotten a Palkia, a Dialga, and one each of the Sprites.

I just need to get Cresselia and that will leave me with only Darkrai, Shaymin, & Arceus left to get.  The question for those three is whether to wait for Nintendo to NEVER get around to releasing them or getting then via a more accessible way.

I've been holding off on getting Cresselia because I've been playing Etrian Odyssey and I started Odin Sphere today.

Well like quite a few in SRE, those three need event tickets from Nintendo. There are codes that allow you to get these items so right now that is the only way to get them, since the modifier codes need you to see a pokemon to hack it. (My brother tried these codes on his game so he has all of them.)

To me though it is pretty useless since you cannot use these in anything but  between your friends. And if they don't make it pretty accessible to get them. (Like including the items in a preorder bonus like they did with Jirachi.) From what I seen other than the fact that Nintendo hasn't offered them so they are hacked. They are otherwise legit because all you are hacking is the item to get to the areas to fight them. (The hotel, the pillar on mount corenet and the garden thingy (forgot its name, its through the blocked off enterence in Victory Road it comes to a garden like path that ends with a slab.

Oh did you get the Legendary from breeding Manaphy?

As for a utility pokemon I recomend Bibarel (Bidoof second form) it can lean all the HM moves except Fly, Defog and Waterfall.
Stupidity is lost on my. Then again I'm almost always lost.

I read somewhere that Nintendo was going to change how they delivered Darkrai because of some reason or another having to do with people being able to hack him easily.

Using an Action Replay and using the walk anywhere code you can get Darkrai by taking the boat to the island where Cresselia is and walking to the right and eventually you will get to Darkrai's island.  The same with Shaymin, you can just walk north from where you are suppose to use an event item and you will reach the path that will eventually reach him.  Arceus however will require the event item because he's located above the ground so to speak so you can't walk into his area.

I got a Phione.

I wonder if Nintendo re-releases D/P in a third version like SRE they will make breeding actual Manaphy's possible?

Oh it can, i guess I never tried.  (So put Strength, Rock Break, Surf and Rock Climb on on and Cut/Waterfall on another because you need those four more then cut/Waterfall.)

Well they may also start shipping D/P with an update on them that elminates the walk anywhere code's effectivness. They did that with a bug in the orginal shipments in Japan there was a bug that allowed you to get them by using the explorer set while challenging the elite 4. Then the only only way to get to them with the newer ones is to use the Event Items. But those are hacked already also.....

I have tried the Wi-Fi battle tower and ouch.... So I'm currently re-breeding my fighting group and giving them supliments this time through. So some quick advice if you want to do the Wi-Fi challenges I would give suppliments and use growth promoting items.

And I don't know if it has been commented on but yes move sets do change if they changed the growth moves. I moved my Feralligator from Emerald and it had frost bite when I started to use it.
