I've already played/beaten Kirby Adventure before, so I decided against it.

Stay with it.  It takes awhile longer to get cool like Metroid.

Uh, what exactly changes?

I've been stuck on 1-3, Iceman.  I got really close once--I could see the exit--but got killed by that last reaper's little flying freaks or something.  I haven't been able to get that high again since. D:

I'm currently in 1-3 as well, but haven't given too much effort to beaten it. I shall go and try so now. Though I still have Super Castlevania IV to beat, got stuck in that.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but they did fix the MK64 VC game and has an update for everyone to download.  Just go to the Wii shop and redownload it for free.  Guess Nintendo does care what you guys think eh? .

What was broken though? Or does the patch allow Ghost data to be saved?

I have 1300 points left, and I have had them for weeks.  I'm on a tight budget at the moment so I am trying to hold on to them for something big.

'm getting my ass kicked in Kid Icarus.  1-3 is where I had to say 'serenity now', and turn it off.  And I've beaten the game a few times when I was younger.  How embarrassing.

Damn, it is in Australia. But still, that's a good sign!

Kid Icarus is hard in the bad way. It's not challenging, it's just plain hard. I don't think it's a very good game, it relies too much on random chance not skill or effort. I finally made it to 1-4, though.

1-4 isn't too bad, and 2-1 through 2-3 aren't really very hard.  I'm not really looking forward to 2-4, though.  The castles are a pain because you have to complete them in their entirety without dying once.  1-4 wasn't too bad, but 2-4 is bigger and more complex.  It's like playing through a dungeon in Zelda, only instead of just enemies coming back if you die, EVERYTHING gets reset.

I disagree.  It's all skill and effort.  It's just unforgiving and totally pattern based.  Well, almost.  I do notice sometimes it changes enemies, about once every 5 times you try the same level.  But I'm loving it anyway.  Between this and Super Castlevania, I'm sure to smash a window.  Although in Castlevania I'm at block A-1 now.

Super Castlevania is hard in the GOOD way, though. You learn the patterns and work your way slowly. Kid Icarus is half luck. I am on IX in Castlevania. I'd been stuck FOREVER at the end of XIII because I was silly and overlooked something painfully obvious. Finally beat it tonight with little difficulty.

Has anyone been able to fill up their Wii flash memory with VC games

From what I figured I could probley.....on average...fill up all my channels with games and have about 100 blocks or so free.

So does anyone have a crap load of money that they have blown on VC games?

I've bought 16 myself

In regards to the Mario Kart patch, apparently they fixed an error that occured if the character selection screen was left running for too long.
