Yes, it has a bazillion random encounters, and it is turn-based, but, and there's a but, there is an option in the battle menu that was called auto-battle (I think that's what it was called) that will be quite helpful if you want to grind.

I got one of those E-mails...I thought it was pretty nifty.  I will be glad to visit the videos and buy more games now that I can just check my E-mail on the obscure ones and see if I like what is presented.

Just now?

Nintendo is horribly slow at advertising these things.

Ah, thanks for correcting me. I also got Donkey Kong Jr., and yes, it is cool to a certain extent of its limitations.

How was the Football game?

I really would like to own those old Madden SNES football games.  The super cheesy ones where you can mess with the AI and exploit it by running backwards and loop around for a touch down.

That is always great stuff to pull off.

You can still exploit the AI, even in the next generation versions.  It's a little harder on next-gen than it is on PS2 era though.

This is nice.  But, wow we are going to need a HD Drive soon for all these potential games.

Hey Nintendo I got an idea for you.  Create a Virtual Console Hard Drive Package.

For $100.00 give games the ability to get a Hard Drive, Virtual Console Controller and free 2000 Points Virtual Console Card, to download some games.

It will be a huge profit maker for you, but will also look like a great deal in comparison to Microsoft's Hard Drive.  A free Controller $20 value.  Free Points card $20 Value...so the true cost of the Hard Drive would be around $60.00.

Nintendo please do this ASAP...how about making it the September surprise that is supposed to happen?

Nintendo will need to look into this by years end..even if no HDD... a update for bootable off SD card would be nice...and the ability to have more "channels" on the Wii as well as the ability to subdivide channell blocks.
For Wii online holla at ya boy here:
Wii # 5588-4014-4197-6180

I have a DS as well
w/ MKDS, DKRDS, Tetris DS, and Clubhouse Games....have NO idea what my codes are for those *sigh*

I'd really like to have specific channels, sort of used as folders, for each console on the VC. That way I could divide the games up that way, solving (at least for a while) the problem of running out of channels. Also, for what must be the billionth time, I demand a hard drive, support for a USB hard drive, or support for booting channels off the SD card.

Well, a month ago, Starmen.net told us Earthbound would be real soon.  If they're right, it should be any week now.

I'd say they were going to have a Kirby week for whatever his next game will be, but they've already released a few of them, so it doesn't look like that'll happen.

Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
