Topic: Next Wii shipment??

I was told "Nintendo likes to ship once a week". LuWoo call everyday. Thats how I got mine, I had to have called 3 or 4 stores a collective 20-25 times in 6 days.

Annoyingness happening at Walmart.  My roommate works there and they got 6 in.  He got one hid for us (we got screwed on launch day and his boss and other coworkers have been apologizing ever since and they allowed him to hide it), my wife got there to buy it.  The other 5 were already sold.  They tried to ring it up, but it would not allow them to sell it.  Apparently, Walmart is expecting huge amounts of Wii's on December 3rd (Sunday) and we have to wait until then to purchase the system.  

So those who have yet to get one, wait outside walmart the morning of the 3rd and you may find one there.

I was at toys r us yesterday, the chap said that they expect incrimental small shipments via fed ex.  I dont know if he just wants me coming back to the store everyday or what.

Interesting enough, he said that finding a console shouldnt be a challenge, but finding additional controllers and accessories will be.

Stopping at Target yesterday, they had PS3s on the shelf when I was there(for how long I dont know) but no wiis.

So my advice, and my plan is to check early check often.

For Canadians, Futureshop and Bestbuy will be putting new systems online on December 8th. That doesn't mean the stores won't have them this week or next week, but the online stores won't until the 8th.

Congrats on all that have gotten their wii's.  The feeling you get walking out of the store, wii box in hand, is priceless aint it?

Acoording to the Wiiseeker, many places are expecting shipments on Friday.  Does anyone know how valid the tool is?
