kaybee.com ans toyrus.com both have Wii bundles in stock... or at least they are claiming they are. Bundles suck and these are getting passed up by me. I just want the console and I 'll pick the games I want. I am worried if I cant get one before dreaded 'greed friday' I will be without one until well afteer Jan. 1st.

I played Wii tonight (monkey ball and excite truck) and it was fun and everthing worked very well. The classic controller was actually nicer than expected too.

I am reading the Wii FAQ and I am wondering what do I need along with Wii? The only thing I think I need to buy separate is the memory card (sd card)?

EBgames.com and gamestop.com are selling bundles again, but it has a note that says it wont ship before 12/8

man this is getting really annoying. Nowhere around me has Wii and every store says they sold the first shipment within minutes and don't know when more are coming.

I'd just like to note that my area as well as where I go to college, have gotten no systems in since launch and even then received very few. I really am at a loss on what to do to find a Wii other than waiting and constantly calling them. Till then, I'll enjoy reading the back of my 2 game boxes and swinging my lone Wiimote around. Sigh.

It's odd, but I had assumed that those blue lights were always on or something. Why in the world would I want a card that only lights up when I hold down the power button?

Unless your local Gamestop is a single store located away from other big name stores then your out of luck. Once 6 A.M roles around on Friday it's like a human tsunami and everything will be taken within minutes.

I remember when I was a kid and my Mom took me with as she went shopping on Black Friday once. My God, I still remember how crazy everything was even to this day. It's like people just loose their minds and become complete animals.

Do you think its worth it to camp outside one of my local Gamestops at 2 in the morning on Friday? I'm not sure if they'll have any, but everything I've read points to such a scenario.

The Gamestop I'm going to opens at 7:00a, and they already have 4 Wiis, but Nintendo said they couldn't sell them until tomorrow (Black Friday). So, I plan on getting there at 4:30a - 5:00a, because I really, really, want a Wii for the weekend.

walmart.com has their "8 games bundle" back in stock. Toyrus.com has a couple bundles in stock. I think kbtoys.com had a bundle in stock too, but nothing I wanted.
No Wii at amazon.com (there are some $700 private seller options), buy.com has none, and I don't think even knows what Wii is (buy.com has always sucked anyway). And absolutly no singular Wii, only bundles.

I have a theory that Nintendo specifically held the shipment back to not only have the launch week with an orchestrated sellout, but also for a repeat this weekend. I have a feeling we'll start seeing Wii consoles start showing up starting next week with much less exclusivity with online bundles, and more in regular stores, and hopefully broader areas.

I hate black friday. I have a headache from trying to track down Wii, and a TV with the online deals which have started and sold out this morning (I was denied buying because of my zip code!), and the online deals would sell out from the time I added the item to my cart to the time I typed my zip code=GONE (Im on dial-up).

I will get my Wii and the TV after the madness, this hassle has not been worth it.

Retarded.

Got up at 4:00 AM. Four of us went, two waited at Target and two at Gamestop. At target they were about 20th in line, at Gamestop we were about 12th at first, but a bunch of people fucking cut. The manager was a douche too, after hearing the complaints for about 10 minutes he comes up with this golden solution: "If you're not in line, you're not in line." He says that a couple times and walks back into the store.

Didn't matter anyway though, Gamestop only had 9 Wiis (zero ps3s lawl). Target didn't have ANY. NONE AT ALL. Bitches.

So that was a waste of time. I'm gonna try again sunday if anyone's still willing to take me. Best Buy SAID they'd have them on Sunday but who knows, it's not like any store has told the truth so far about anything....
