After watching those videos I think this game has been bumped up to a must have position. The graphics are bright, smooth and colorful. The game is very pleasing to the eye (at least mine) and the single player adventure looks like it'll be fresh again with use of the Wiimote. This game will definitely fill the party game role. Time to talk the fiancee into getting this for me for Christmas.

SMBBB was already the game I wanted to get with Wii and with all the mini games being available to start and with Disc Golf I am getting excited for this.

Toy r Us is saying $59.  Probably a little to much for me. And strange. Seems a little high for this game. Sega must be testing the Wii waters.  Hope Rayman is not this high.

What? Dumb mistake, SEGA.. when Nintendo games are $50, you can't afford to have a higher price..

I know that some games cost more than others to make, but on a system like Wii that does not require creation of high-resolution material $60 is too high. Nintendo will sell games like Zelda, Mario, Metroid, etc. for $50 when they certainly cost more create than Super Monkey Ball. If this is true, then Sega lost at least one purchase. I hope 3rd parties stick with $50 (or less). If not, I guess I will have to get over it.
Thanks for listening.

Yeah, I was shocked at the $60 ToysRUs price-tag.  A little presumptuous, aren't we Sega?

Unfortunately Monkey Ball is still in my roster of games I'll be getting before year's end.

That's odd since the game is $80 AUD here, $20 under normal Wii game RRP. Maybe that's just a slight error / goof up by TRU? Or maybe they are just covering their asses just in case with the highest possible price and the price isn't announced by Sega yet.

CompUSA has Monkey Ball for only $50.

Toys R Us must be anticipating the game to be a big seller and jacked up the price a bit.

I was just at Target and SMB was priced at $50. TRU is usually great on game pricing so I'm thinking it isn't a final price, just a goof up. With all the other next gen systems pricing games at $60 someone might've thought it was the same for the Wii and entered it that way. Either way, if you are buying it at launch you might want to look for the game someplace other than TRU.

LMAO EGM gave this game a 6.5 because it's "really hard". The guys reviewing it admitted they had crap reflexes and sucked at games, yet still lowered the score because its EXACTLY WHAT MONKEY BALL SHOULD BE! I'm more hyped for it now that I know they haven't dumbed it down. Plus they also marked it lower because not every single one of the 50 mini games is a lot of fun. I wonder if they just took out 40 of the worst ones it would probably have gotten a better score. I hate these weak reviewers so much.

Yeah, I lawled at the EGM review.  It wasn't that it was hard because the controls sucked, it was hard because THEY suck.  OMG 6.5 AHAW HAW HAW

Still not sure whether I'm getting this or Monkey Ball at launch.  Only gonna buy one, BUT WHICH ONE?  I NEED HELP WITH THIS DECISION ;____;  I'm thinking that since it'll only be two-player wii until chris

I don't feel like typing anymore
