if any of you remember my predictions my launch date was originally November 15-20th coinciding with the space between the release of Metroid Prime 1 and Metroid Prome 2. MP3 got delayed...so it lost its effect on the launch. I bet it was pushed back just a few days to give them some breathing room.

what was Rick's prediction?

I'm going on record right now as saying that Nintendo will release the machine a week earlier than this and will drop the price to $229.

I was thinking the same thing....what time is that Europe event anyway? Funny how it was held a day after the other events, enough time for Reggie and Iwata to get over there and drop some more info maybe??

I'm not saying the price couldn't drop before launch...just that it's not going to tomorrow

We have reached the 1 month mark. 31 days until Wii launch (actually less now.)

I expect to begin seeing Wii ads on television starting in November...as well as demo kiosks hitting in November.

The excitement is just about to explode...for the next generation of gaming.

Are you ready? Do you have a Wii reserved? Do you have your games picked out? How about accessories? In one month you better be ready...because the Wii will be a GO!!!!

It's like a punch in the balls every time I see these timers, reminding me that, although they didn't have to, Nintendo chose to launch the Wii as late as possible.

I love countdowns! it makes me feel all gooie inside when i see there's only 5 days left, then i wake up praying for the days to go fast, 4 days left, i wake up sweating wondering where my wii is... then run to bathroom, 3 days left, where is it? oh only a dream damn i thought it broke, 2 days left, ahhh its finally F***ing friday weekend here, time to get toast up forget about the Wii for 1 night, 1 day left, pacing pacing pacing pacing pacing pacing pacing pacing pacing, no sleep, ITS F***ING HERE!! push mom down the stairs on the way out, run to store, it's only 10 blocks from my house. call brother tell him i'm running there pick me up in 5 minutes, i'll have his too, after i kill everybody in my way.

PLAY TIME, no forum postings, no AIM, no MMORPG, no nothing.

Only Wii.

Hey S_B! Is the Wii out yet? Is it all? Huh? Huh? HUH???

At least you have a Wii secured on November 19, you are near the store and you can easily pick up the console and games. In my case, I have to drive for an hour, find the nearest store then try to find a Wii. And I don't do these type of drives often, so chances are I won't be getting a Wii till either Christmas or NEXT YEAR.

At least you can easily get the console. Think of us poor, college kids that can't afford one at the moment. Imagine waking knowing that the Wii is already out...but you are too broke to buy one...
