Although everyone loves my Avatar, I'm thinking I'd like to try something fun...

Assuming a mod doesn't veto this idea, I'm thinking I'll rent out my avatar space at a rate of fifty cents for 24 hours (discount rate of $3 for 7 days).

Regular forum rules would apply, of course, but outside of that, interested users could submit to me whatever avatar they want (insulting me even!).

Whatta say? Who's up for the idea?

Well, they haven't *not* approved it.

If a moderator decides this isn't going to work after someone has paid, if that person hasn't received their entire 24 hour rental period, I'll refund them their Fifty Cents.

I cannot guarantee a minimum number of posts simply because I don't want to have to start spamming the boards with useless topics in order to meet a "quota" - Two things to keep in mind though is that; a) all previous posts will change to your selected avatar and b) I tend to make enough useless topics anyway.

I don't honestly expect to raise enough money to buy me a share of Nintendo stock, but whatever I do raise by the end of the year will probably go toward that. While the entire process is in jest (and thus the low, low price of Fifty Cents!), I thought it'd be kinda neat to see what happens.

Okay, I've downgraded my PayPal account to a personal account (I never knew it was anything else) - I'm still out the 31 cents from vudu's purchase, but from now on, I'll be able to take PayPal - just no debit or credit cards...

As far as long term discounts, just the $3/week - I want to give everyone the chance to rent my avatar space.

heh... how could you not love it?

Okay now, PayPal is ticking me off - no more PayPal payments for the time being.
My second renter sent his payment of $3 overnight and PayPal took 39 cents from it - after they told me my account had been downgraded to a personal account and that I should now not be charged any fees. I've sent them an angry e-mail, but for now, no more PayPal - although after vudu's time is up tonight, there's a new poster who will have the avatar for a week. Who is it? Stay tuned to find out!

Okay, I think, I think that I've got PayPal taken care of this time (although I'm still sending e-mails about my damn 39 cents they took from the second payment)...

In about an hour, my Avatar will be changing again, however that person told me they just wanted seven days, they didn't have to be consecutive, so if you want to get an avatar in for the day after tommrow or such, let me know...
