Very possible considering we already know From Software is making a Wii RPG...

Is it just me, or have rumors been getting lamer and lamer?

Who cares if any of this happens, except for maybe NiGHTS?

None of these game will use the Wiimote to some other level we have yet to see (except for maybe NiGHTS) and therefore, I can't be interested in these rumors.

That's not to say I wouldn't be interested if they were true announcements, but as rumors.........they suck.....

I'm interested in pretty much all of these for one reason or another! I have a bizarre obsession with the Action/RPG genre, I want to play Path of Radiance but I won't get it if I get the game in the Wii version, Nights is bloody NIGHTS, having Kingdom Hearts would be another nail in the coffin for Sony, and I'm interested in seeing just how Swords of Legendia turns out...

according to gamefront the page wunderlampe.de was told that Square Enix will sell two of its franchises. wunderlampe did neither say which franchises will be sold nor who the buyers are.

now some speculation from gamefront. they say that it could be the Mana and Kingdom Hearts franchise, which will go to Disney, because they started their own developement studio named Fall Line in November 06. Now for the wildest thing (imo) in this speculation: Fall Line was created to produce for Wii, DS and GBA.

Well we all know that Disney did just open up a studio to support Nintendo systems, so atleast the specuation seems plausible. As far as which franchises I think they would sell, well the speculation pretty much sums that up too. I still think SE would work closely with Disney on the KH games and just let Disney publish them.

But in all likelyhood that SE will sell off 2 franchises, I bet it would be something we haven't seen in any form for atleast 3 or more years

I could see Kingdom of Hearts being sold to Disney. Squares overall presence in that game character wise is pales to Disney plus it would just be them buying the controlling interest in the game. I'm sure Square would allow them to license there characters to be including in the game just for that game. Also didn't Square do a Mickey game before?

I'm hoping they sell the Ogre Battle series to Nintendo. We need another one of those games.

Personlly I'm happy with my rechargable battery setup, cause i can just swap the batteries out and keep playing. If I have to somehow dock the controller to let it recharge, thats not gonna work for me. And unless it comes with a 20 foot charging cable that plugs into the Wiimote, a plug-in adapter is gonna be kinda pointless too. I'll stick with the current battery situation, but some built-in rubberized grips might be a welcome addition, but that might cut into their accessory sales.

I think it would be difficult to play with a charging cord attached. The way the wiimote is balanced would be off. I am satisfied with recharging my batteries whenever they need it. Though the charging unit shown at the CES looks like a cool idea.

I'm guessing you wouldn't play it while it's charging. It's probably designed so that you dock it in the charger when not playing it. So the battery would last 20-30 hours. You'd never really have to worry about the battery dieing unless you play for more than 20 hours straight (which some do) or unless you forget to dock the wiimote when done playing. Sounds like it could work though I do like my current setup as well.

Releasing a revision to the controller? How very Playstation.

Considering the surprising amount of people throwing controllers through their TVs I think rubber grips would be a good idea and I wanted a rechargable remote from day one. It doesn't make certain games unplayable or anything so it seems like a decent change. Plus unlike a portable system revision a controller replacement isn't as costly and odds are few people have four controllers yet anyway. One could always use their old remotes for multiplayer and use a new remote as their "player one controller".

I know I mentioned this when we were discussing colours for something else a long while back (it was either GBA SPs, DSes, or DS Lites, most likely), but the Wii needs these colours:

-Mushroom Red
-Varia Orange
-Triforce Gold
-Kokiri Green
-Falcon Blue
-Peach Pink

As they don't explicitly refer to Nintendo characters (well, Peach does, but the fruit is also pink-ish) it's a good way to ease non-gamers into recognition of gaming icons.

I can't say I've ever heard of a Varia outside of Metroid. Same goes for a Triforce and a Kokiri. And say what you will about blue, but Falcon obviously directly refers to Captain Falcon.

Okay, you got me. My reasoning wasn't that great. I just think "Mushroom Red" and "Kokiri Green" sound cooler than "Mario Red" and "Link Green".
