I like that Rapture song. I was kinda looking forward to a Blondie remake, but its still a good head banger. Sounds a bit 'Tool'ish.

Music videos aren't supposed to make sense, they're just eye candy. Look at Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love.

yeah, i think everyone has heard that at least once( if not a billion times). That was the first time i saw the music video, not much to it.

This video is good, but the song is excellent.

too bad

another good light song.

MSI is awesome.  Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy is a great album.  Tight is really good, too.  It's a shame that their more recent stuff has dropped so much in quality.  You'll Rebel to Anything is nearly unlistenable.

TOOL.

end of story.

not too many people get into them, but their music is really intelligent, if you can actually dedicate the brain power necessary to understanding their lyrics.

Silly monkeys; give them thumbs they make a club and beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an a eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here.

Tool is a great band.  I saw them when they were in Dallas and that was, by far, the best concert I have ever been too in my whole life.  Now, we just have to wait five more years for thei new album  Just like Nintendo

Tool is great.  Aenima is one of the greatest albums ever recorded.  New CD is subpar, at best.

I just got a Panic! at the Disco, Hurt, Ozzy, Three Days Grace, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and All American Rejects cd, and i feel dissapointed in all cds except for ozzy. Panic! at the disco was okay, and i was interested in the larger amount of instruments used, but too many sounded the same to me. Hurt was okay, but they stretched the songs out and could never improve upon Rapture, the only saving quality of this album. Ozzy was Ozzy, Three Days Grace was okay, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers wasnt rocky enough. I didnt even take the time to listen to any other songs on the All American Rejects cd except for the singles. Any suggestions for cds?

Same thing for mentioning Bad Religion. I've been blasting out their albums No Control, Tested and The Empire Strikes First. Very slick punk.

Agreed. Too bad because they are one of my favorite bands. I did enjoy what APC offered up in between Lateralus and 10,000 Days (not including Emotive), but yeah it is going to suck to have to wait another 5 years for a Tool Album. Modern Rock is dying a slow death, too many bands who sound too similar. I really started getting into classic rock lately and that has provided for a plethora of new music for me. Queen's discography along with AC/DC's and Led Zeppelin's provides for days of listening.

(not including Emotive)
Emotive is the worst excuse for an album I've ever heard.  It's so bad it lowers the credability of APC's other albums by association.

Radiohead is awesome.  Sure, it may be trendy to like them, but bands tend to sell a lot of albums for a reason--they're good.  What exactly don't you find appealing about Radiohead?  Thom Yorke's solo album is mediocre.

I recently got into a hard rock/punk band called Tub Ring.  They're very Mike Patton-ish.  I highly recommend anyone who's into the style of music to check them out.  You can download some full songs off their three albums at tubring.com.  Unfortunately, the two sample songs off their latest album are probably the weakest/more generic songs on the album.

I have to agree with Mr. Jack. New rock has become very similar, and i find nothing interesting in anything. I have to admit though, Panic! at the Disco is interesting. They dont follow the normal trend, and combine there rock with band instruments and create a new sense of rock. In one of their songs they use a cello for the solo, it sounds pretty awesome. I am also listening to older rock, and considering going out to get a new queen cd. Also, even though Stevie Ray Vaughn is bluesy, you need to check him out. He was an amazing guitarist and died to young. Im going out to get a Stone Sour cd, good or bad?

If you like Stone Sour (I'm a fan) you should enjoy their new CD. I'd say I like it equal to their first offering, though Through Glass is an amazing song and I think it is by far the best song on the disc.

OK Computer is one of my favourite albums of all time, not too much of a fan of Kid A and Amnesiac, but Hail to the Theif was a decent return to form.

I've recently become obsessed with the song As The Worm Turns.  I'm not really a Faith No More fan, but I listen to this song at least twice a day.  It has the greatest 80s keyboard line ever.

Tool sucks. I'm sorry, but I feel very strongly about this. Tool being completely overplayed (and the fact that every song they've made in the past 10 years sounds exactly the same) is the main reason I don't listen to FM radio anymore. Yes, you read that right, the MAIN REASON.

Anybody here an Incubus fan? I love them, but their new CD is pretty terrible. Anna Molly is a great song, but the rest of the CD is really subpar for them. I guess I should've seen the decline starting with A Crow Left of the Murder, but I was blinded by love. It seems like every band I really loved growing up just fell to the wayside recently. Korn, System of a Down, even Tool, and now Incubus (amongst countless others). I guess I will remain in musical limbo right now, trying to find something new to enjoy.

Where the fuk do you live? I hear TOOL on the radio once a month IF I'm lucky. Every song they've made in the past 10 years sound exactly the same? Listen to the songs that share the names of their respective albums then come back to me. Opiate, Undertow, Aenima, Lateralus, and 10,000 Days.

I like Incubus but their past 2 or 3 (I'm not sure how many they've released) have been extremely disappointing, the last album I liked by them is the one that has Warning on it,  the name of it escapes me.

Oh and I like Emotive, it disappoints me that they would get involved in the political scene, but it's a the diversity of the album and varying moods is what I like, and sorry to say but Passive(the only real original song on the album Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums doesn't count for me since it's basically a remix of Pet) is one of my all time favorite APC songs.

Warning was on Morning View (an amazing album). A Crow Left of the Murder came after that and that is when they started getting a little weak. Most songs on the CD were still good just 1 or 2 really bad ones. This new one, Light Grenades, is a good 90% garbage which is really disappointing for such a versatile band.

Well APC had themselves in the political scene with Thirteenth Step (nearly every song on the album is alluding to some political matter/figure), Emotive was just alot more blatant about it. I was just not very impressed by any of their remakes and I know they just slapped it together to get out of contractual agreeements so I can't really hold it against them (though you should take pride in what you do, no matter what). To each his own though. Emotive just didn't do anything for me and quite frankly I thought it was an embarrasment when compared to Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step.
