About the coins...I'm sure I'm not the only one who still saw visions of falling blocks after playing too much Tetris, right up until I fell a sleep.

I recently had a dream about playing Halo with a friend.  Actually, we were going to play it but we never actually got to his house.  The weird thing is, he doesn't even like Halo.  Wha?  Maybe he was purposely taking his time getting home.
That's my opinion, not yours.

I dreamt that some people started calling the Wii the iiM, like inverting the name.

But the really weird dream I had was a mix of HR Giger works(I bought a book recently) and the Metroid Universe, when I woke up I couldnt remember it very clearly, but thats probably a good thing. just search for mister Giger work, the stuff of nightmares... but its so calm and beautiful at the same time, really freaky

Didn't Giger do the Alien designs? I remember Giger Alien pictures but I'm not sure if he did the original or a reinterpretation. But since Metroid is an Alien derivative Giger wouldn't be out of place.

Yup, thats the one, its so damn creepy and compelling at the same time. The sexual references sometimes are blatantly obvious and freak me out though.

Giger...*shudders*

I had a dream bout Zelda last night. I was playing it with a Radio-Shack type Universal Remote (in anticipation of playing with the Wiimote, I imagine.) Had to get Link to talk with this woman who was running about, and magically changing back and forth between two female forms. Control was really hard, I had to move link with the remote's arrow keys, but I finally caught her. And when I did, she wiggled inside Link (Yeah. Freud would have a field day with that one.) Once inside, she gave Link the power to open a hidden passageway. The passageway lead to a sidequest, which struck me as a subtle spoof of Lord of the Rings....there was a ring and a giant spider, anyway. I realized fighting the giant spider would be impossible with a crappy universal remote, so I feverently pushed the buttons, looking for the one that doubled as a pause button. I finally found it and paused the game, then went to get an N64 controller.

Weird.

I had a dream about Wii last night.

It was small.  The system itself was no bigger than one DVD case, and the remote was a little bigger than say a stick of gum.  It came with two games, Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Attack Festival or something.  I played Mario Kart, it wasn't fun.  I don't even think the remote did anything.

i had a dream about wii last night too...

I was playing Mystical Ninja only it really starred Mystikal.  The controls were terrible, but I just liked licking my Wii for some reason.  I think I'm traumatized.

I had a crazy dream a couple weeks ago. It's not Wii related, but I'd like to post it anyways. I don't know what to make of it....maybe you guys can help me decipher it.

I was walking down what seemed like a pretty normal block of a pretty normal-looking sub-urb. I keep walking, enjoying the smell of the summer air as I continue. I start to notice that I haven't seen a single person or car this entire time. Either way, I start to cross the street and a huge Semi comes out of nowhere! I feel this intense anxiety, just like one must feel right before they die. I was scared and all I could do was scream and brace for the hit.....

All the sudden, I am lying face up in a huge grassy field. The trees line the horizon. As I gaze up into the star-lit sky, I hear a deep tremble, like an intense amount of bass. I stand up and look at the moon. It didn't look right. I don't know what was wrong with it, but it just wasn't right.

It was a beautiful night. The stars were so bright. But something started to happened.....The whole sky started to rotate. It spun faster and faster till everything had trails and had become a blur. Then a cloud appeared out of nowhere and formed the shape of an evil smily face. It starts to laugh a very deep demonic type laugh.

Then I saw an explosion in the distance, and then the world ends....

That's when I wake up.

Pretty f#cked up right?

Wow requiem, that is "pretty f***ed up," but everyone has had weird dreams like that.  As for wandering, if you remember correctly, one of the previews for TP did have a scene where link was in some cave running from a giant spider, so maybe thats where you got it from.

i know what your dream meant.
icecold was close too...

that whole dream symbolizes your excitement towards e3 and the bombshell that is Wii. everything looked normal and calm but nintendo's huge semi came out of nowhere and hit you because reggie was behind the wheel and he's done taking names. he's ready for action. the second that reggiefied semi hit you, you were knocked into nintendos blue ocean strategy where everything was blurred because they blur the lines between traditional games and non-games to destroy the world as we know it. the day after the coming of Wii will be a new age, one that can only come if former misconceptions and prejiduce from nongamers towards video games and the players is destroyed and rebuilt from the ground up. it is an age where all races, all creeds, all sexes will come forth and worship Wii.

That sounds like we need an androgynous emo boy with a huge sword and a shy magical girl to save the day!

Yeah, I remember I did think, when a batch of TP screens were released, that alot of stuff seemed Lord of the Rings derived...

I just dreamt that I had a Wii and the only decent launch game was Metroid and even that was only so-so. And I dreamt being angry that again I was stupid enough to buy a system at launch and not having anything to play on it for months. Must be left over anger from the DS.
