I'd cover the camera in a poker game so people couldn't read my face.

Video chat is a horrible waste of bandwidth. What can you glean from someone's face that you can't do from their voice mid-game?

microsoft: all the players connect thu the microsoft dedicated servers
nintendo: p2p play using gamespy tech

I don't think this is true. Most Live games are P2P. Microsoft just does the matchmaking, exactly the same as DS games. The few exceptions are usually MMORPGs.

EDIT: Fixing my quoties.

Scratch that, rootkits were excellent hacker tools.

Hats off to them for that.

That was Sony Music and they just licensed those things.

Everything Sony promises sounds impressive, but to date, I don't think they've ever once delivered anything as impressive as they've promised.

Yet people still buy SONY products.  SONY as a brand is extremely powerful and well known worldwide so they could potentially deliever the biggest lemon ever and im sure it would rack up alot of sales.

Video chat maybe a horrible waste of bandwidth but if it doesnt lag its a pretty impressive feature to have. Im sure you will also have the ability to turn it on or off.

Also I would like to go on the record that in-game video chat is the most retarded idea since.... Damn I can't think of anything more retarded.

It is no more retarded than in-game voice chat.  That can be just as distracting if people are screaming in your ears.  Besides one positive thing video chat will enable is that you will be able to moon your competitors after wiping the floor with their arses.
