I'm working on my 2nd degree and work full time.  You're lucky if you even get to sit down and play Hemmorroid.  I haven't had time to finish RE ZERO, Skies of Arcadia, and Bonus Disc Zeldas.  Organic Chemistry does that to you sometimes.

Wow, you guys make me feel young. I don't even have a drivers' liscense. I started with Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunter combo and since have only had Nintendo. I don't plan on leaving until Ninty does.

My Brother will be turning thirty this year and not only has "not stopped" playing video games, he just recently bought an entertainment system to enjoy all his old and new games on his brand new HD TV.

Long live the Gamer.

I used to think that video games were for little kids only and people grow out of them. It's because video games got off to a bad start as little toys for children.  At that time, video games were only played by children so it look like a thing for only children. Now, those kids have grown up, and guess what, many of them still play games.

People don't get too old for movies, i dont see any reason they would for video games.

OUCH!  That must hurt.  I am sorry to hear that man.  But then again, developing games on a system you don't like is still better than not developing them at all eh?

I am curious about what developer you work for though.

That'd be great if he gave up what company he worked for.

"Hey Grey, I'm working with NoSuch Games, and I hate my life and job because we are making XBOX games, and they suck.  Anyway, I hope no one reads this."

That'd be great.

I can't say I'd give up on gaming TOTALLY if Nintendo dropped out because I really love games.  There are SO MANY great dev's out there on other systems, and they will always be making great games.  It'd break my heart in twain however if something happened to Nintendo.  I literally don't think it ever will, though.  They COULD stop making hardware, but the world could explode, too.

I am almost 37 years old and bought a Cube last year for the Super Smash Brothers Melee bundle pack. I have been a Nintendo fan ever since the early 1980s when my first experience playing Nintendo games were Donkey Kong and Mario Brothers. I have even been a subscriber to Nintendo Power since day one.

I have basically bought almost every system that Nintendo has released to the USA, except the Virtual Boy. However, I do have all the other systems currently out there, such as PS2 and the XBOX. However, I have been bored with the Playstation 2. The XBOX I have only a few games for it. Does this make me wanna stop playing the Cube games? Nope. I have plans to buy at least 10-15 games for the Cube this year.

I'm new the PGC Forums...I find this thread rather interesting.

I am 27 years. I have been Playing video games for the last 23 or 24 years now. As an adult, I seem to prefer Nintendo consoles. The Game Cube is the only console I currently own, and I have no plans to but a PS2 or XBox.

Nintendo basically raised me through my adolescent and teen years, figuratively speaking - of course. To betray Nintendo would be like turning against a parent, LOL. Nintendo took gaming to a whole new level in the 1980's, 1990's and now in the 2000's. I will always support Nintendo products and continue to buy their latest console systems.

In case your wondering...I currently own the following games...

1. Burnout
2. Legends Of Wrestling
3. Metroid Prime
4. Namco Museum
5. Resident Evil Zero
6. Resident Evil
7. Resident Evil 2
8. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
9. Star Wars: Rogue Leader - Rogue Squadron II
10. Super Smash Bros. Melee
11. Wave Race: Blue Storm

Thought it was about time that I chimed in ...

I've had just about every game console there is.  I'm an equal opportunity gamer, and I've enjoyed games on every system.  But I always come back to Nintendo because I know that I get my money's worth with a Nintendo game.  That's why I write for PGC, because no matter what, I always have more FUN with Nintendo.

Plus, Nintendo games are all that my wife will play.  She rolls her eyes at games like GTA, or Halo, but she loves Animal Crossing, Super Monkey Ball, etc.  She's looking forward to Mario Kart more than I am.

Plus, Nintendo did the absolute right thing with the WaveBird.  I can game with the Cube safely behind an entertainment center door, and my Beagle can't eat the cords.    I've already lost several regular controllers and a couple of PS2 controllers to him.  He's a pain, but I love 'im.

Nintendo might not always make the decisions that result in being the market leader, but they always maintain their focus.  Nintendo is about GAMES, and specifically about Nintendo's brand of games.  I don't mind buying a system that I know isn't going to try to be the "center of my home entertainment system".

Yeah, that's my Beagle!  He's a great dog.  Billy hates him, because everytime he stays here, Casey chews something of his to bits.  Serves him right for leaving stuff on the floor.    Actually, Billy says he's a "crazy dog", but I know he loves him.  He's just afraid to admit it, 'cause Louie would scratch his eyes out.

Casey!

He's just a young'un in the picture above, but that's a classic Casey pose.  He loves to just sit and look up at you, with that "What?" expression.

It's hard to beleive he's already over a year old!!!

OK, back on topic ...

I'm curious as to which games you purchased...

For the record I'm 23 and I'm still playing my games. I have to admit it has become harder to find time with college/work/girlfriend but I still find time to play. I bought a Playstation 2, but I ended up donating it to my brother along with the games and the memory card and controllers. I just have no time for 2 systems and the GC is currently taking up all my time. Why must you be so addictive Animal Crossing? I'm also in the process of beating Star Fox Adventures, then Prime, then Zelda.

Ugh not to mention all the GBA games.

And as odd as it sounds, I don't think I would enjoy gaming on a machine other than a Nintendo machine. I don't know what it is, but it just wouldn't feel the same I think. My friend said, "If Nintendo stops making hardware I don't think I will continue playing games." I wonder why we have that kind of attitude for Nintendo, but it freaks me out sometimes that I think that way as well.

Hey Guys. I´m 27 and father of 2 kids. The boy is 4 years old and already quite a Nintendo fan. I´m looking forward to buying the gameboy player for him as I assume GBA games will be more accesible to him, (such as sidescrollers). So I guess we are going to have consoles in our living room for a long time...
