I'd very much like to see that as long as this one was much longer than the last.

I'm  thinking that Luigi needs to travel to different houses for the game.  Each house has a different theme because of the possessions, and different looking ghosts.

This would allow Boss battles at the end of each house, and a special ability you need to collect to in each house hidden away.

Yes, this is likely...

As for Luigi's Mansion, how about if the entirety of Toad Town (or whatever the main city in the Mushroom Kingdom is called) became haunted?  You'd make your way through the town, and then into Peach's castle...

Games I'd like to see? Star Wars. Online laser fencing. Woohoo! Oh, and that Action Quake-Max Payne-Viewtiful Joe blend I've described in the "FPS controls" thread.

Remember that Shenmue rumor of possibly releasing Shenmue 3 as well as Shenmue 1+2 on a next generation console.  I think Shenmue is one of the best games to use the REV controller for.  The entire game requires interaction with objects and this would make it much smoother.  I'd like to see the entire Shenmue series remade with the REV controller.

Speaking of Dreamcast games I think a Chu Chu Rocket game would work a lot better with the REV controller than the standard joystick.

I would love a Wario Ware type game called:

Mundane Life.

the object of the game is to do crazy action mini games wrapped around mundane actions we all do at home.  Like washing and drying dishes with a speed limit and drain monster in the sink...or something.

Just something to bring the crazy and bizzarre to everyday life.  It would be alot of fun and different...specially in Multiplayer.

Walking the Mutant Dawg would be a fun mini-game too where you have to constantly pull the dog back, and wrestle to dog away from other dogs and animals...it could be fun.

In Animal Crossing we'll be able to customise/interact a lot more now, for example paint the house, maybe even build houses! Hammer nails in etc.

Ooooh, you know what would be cool? Paper Mario. Use the NRC sideways like a NES controller when moving around the overworld, but when a battle happens, turn it vertical for some Paper Mario timing/motion based attacks.

Whoa whoa whoa, totally awesome idea.  I so hope they do this, because that would be all sorts of kicking ass.

I'd like to see Trauma Center Revolution.  I think that would have some really cool possibilities.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

It's I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E that nobody mentioned Pikmin, now that we know about the NRC and we know REV will have online capabilities so that means...TOTAL MASSIVE PIKMIN WARS *drools*! Oh and a REV version of Super MonkeyBall would also be quite interesting to see.

I thought about Pikmin ever since the controller was revealed, but I decided to tuck it away in the back of my mind since we know they're not working on a new game right now

Now that you mention it, it's almost like the Rev controller was MADE for Super Monkey Ball, it's inevitable that we'll get one, can't wait

pikmin would be nice, but i have a feeling that they'd keep the limit at 100 pikmin (even though im sure the rev can push more)

A game we're likely to see?

Super Mario Paper Airplane.

You know it seems a lot of people seem to forget that Nintendo is going to have a "real-type" controller cradle that is more than likely going to ship with the Revolution. So the people who are worring how some of these older franchises are going to handle the new controller really shouldn't worry.

In one of my game design classes I took I wrote up a design doc with what was then the rumor of some short of tip sensor on the controller. The game was an Action RPG mixed with the fighting elements from a  weapons fighter game. Using the motion capture ability of the controller and the cradle, you could map the defensive moves to the tiping and movement of the controller.  (Tip to the right parry to the right, jerk the controller to right the character jumps to the right.) With the correct programing such a setup will make for some cool defense/counter moves. Not to mention the number of accual moves and the different type of input you can have for each character.

I'm sure we are going to see a keyboard type extension to the controller. So the potential for complex computer RTS heading to the Revolution are pretty good.

I'm currently typing a speculation article up simular to what I did with the Gamecube when it was first announced, it shouldn't be as long as the two/three rants were but it going to be good. (If any of you remember my articles from back then. )
Stupidity is lost on my. Then again I'm almost always lost.

As far as Pikimin goes, Shigy mentioned in EGM vol. 195 that the Rev controller would perfectly suited for Pikmin. Now I know what he meant by that.
