I think Japan and Europe will each get at least 1 million units before the year is out. Nintendo stated that they expect to ship at least 4 million before January. That accounts for 1 million in Japan, 1 million in Europe and 2 million in the US.

Back on topic, Brain Age 2, NSMB, AC:WW and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl should all reach at least 3,500,000 by the end of the year in Japan. Pokemon possibly 4 million if if stays the same speed it's going (in fact, I predicted this speed a while back just before its release).

BlackNMild at one point or another it got posted the total shipped games that the PSP had... If we can get another report like that it be easy.

Back at the Playstation Summit the total number of games sold worldwide for the PSP was reported as 11.7 Million. Thats a couple months old but they were the newest figures I could fine. So at the time it only take 4 games in the 3 Million+ category.

DS has won North America, and judging by horrific sales of the expensive PSP and Xbox 360, Wii is prepared to do the same. Nintendo should hire Ricardo Montalban just to laugh with them! AH HA HA HA HAAA!

Supposedly, Sony only shipped half of their announced launch totals, which means about 40-50k PS3 actually made it to stores. Even if they ship the other 40-50k PS3's before the weekly count is over, DS will still sell about 40-50k more units than Sony was even able to ship to stores.

I've heard the console vs. handheld debate a million times... and the fact is, little Timmy's mom only has $X to spend on video games for Timmy - and she doesn't care if it's for his gameboy or his nintendo, that's all she's going to spend on it.

according to those #'s Bill was right, at least 17,000 consoles sold without a game.

Those software numbers suck pretty badly. Not that it's unexpected but considering how much they must have cost to make that's pretty much a total failure. Their only hope with these games is that they aren't overshadowed by anything else before the PS3 sells enough to make them profitable which can take half a year.

It's pretty horrific when you have a tie ratio of .92 on LAUNCH day. Wow. The Wii will kill that, considering almost everyone will buy at least Zelda.
