Didnt you guys read Iwata's keynote speech at the GDC conference?!!! he said the DS will be online by the second half of this year, and mario kart online and animal crossing online will be released aroudn that time! if you want the source....

yes it has graphics and costs alot more. WTF nintendo owns the handheld market, and sony are about to take that away from them, just like they took the console market. Do nintendo just collapse with competition or something???

Nintendo Gaming / DS in Australia
« on: February 20, 2005, 04:32:06 PM »
Heyy guys the DS launches in Australia in 3 days. they already have playable DS's in most EB stores. I was playing one the other day, and i just havea few questions.

1. is there a slot on the DS to slide the stylus in?
2. howcome in metroid hunters u cant jump, charge beam, or switch beams?
3.can you hold the DS mid air likea  gameboy while playing games that use teh touch screen, or do u need to rest it on ur lap?

thanks

General Gaming / RE:Xbox 2 suffer same doom as dreamcast?
« on: February 14, 2005, 06:02:24 PM »
the are using the 20 gb discs because they have to. the next gen console games will be too powerful for the current dvds. they need much more room to produce larger worlds and more importantly better visuals.

ok.. thats nice.... but anyway, i just dont fully trust in nintendo. I have this doubt and think that they are the only ones that think its REVOLUTIONARY. It will be so stupid and embarrasing for them, if its something crap. like  mjbd said, something like playing congos on everygame isnt a revolution. when they reveal it at e3 i was to be shocked, jaw dropped and F*&#@$@ excited.

« on: February 12, 2005, 12:29:14 PM »
Yes, but the Ps2 released at the PERFECT time. the dreamcast was too early, people werent ready for a next gen. then ps2 came out, it was time. knocked dreamcast out of the picture, and had about 1 year of NO competition. Had a lot of time for sales. and all the developers didnt have to pick and choose which console to go with. all there was  was ps2. consumers didnt have to make a hard decision, if you wanted the next gen console, the only one out at that time = ps2= buy it.
