Forums (0-1) at Mousers (1-0)

The Forums team, after getting lit up by Team PGC last week, once again goes on the road, this time to play the undefeated Mousers team. At this point, the Forums team should just be looking to win a match, and that might prove tough against the Mousers, led by Justin Berube, who might be one of the best players in the tourney. Berube absolutely dominated Team TNT's Little Mac last week, and whether he plays J.P., Donald, or Carmine, he will likely do the same this week. The key for Team Forums is to hope they can eke out victories against Nick Bray and Jared Rosenberg, who both were in tightly contested matches in week one.

Neal's Prediction: Team Mousers wins 2-1.

PGC (1-0) at SWAN (0-1)

At this early stage in the season, Team PGC is the team to beat. They shellacked Team Forums, beating them three matches to none with a mind-boggling 7 lives left. In their three matches, TYP, Mike, and Windy only died twice. Team SWAN got goosed by Team RFN's trolling Gust Bellows-only setup and almost even sneaked a victory. It's not likely Team SWAN uses their homefield advantage to relive the Gust Bellows trauma, but maybe they should. That might be the only way to stop Team PGC.

Neal's Prediction: Team PGC wins 2-1

TNT (0-1) at Famicast (0-1)

The only match-up between winless teams could prove to be a tight one, as both narrowly lost their week one contests. Famicast chose Hyrule Temple as their homefield last week, and if they do that again, that might open them up to another loss. The key for this match might be Ty and Travis, who could be the best players on their teams. A match-up between them might decide the victor.

Neal's Prediction: Team TNT wins 2-1

RFN (1-0) at Newscast (1-0)

Without a homefield advantage, Team RFN might come back down to Earth. They used Gust Bellows to surprise their week one opponents, but even that almost ended in defeat. If Team Newscast picks a neutral, less chaotic stage and item selection, they could very easily take the victory.

Neal's Prediction: Team Newscast wins 2-1

Thanks to j_laeme for the Power Rankings!

Yay! You used my totally bonkers Power Rankings! I'd explain my method for the rankings but that would mean having to come up with a method. So yeah.

They're not really power rankings if there's a hard and fast method of deciding them.

Why is Neal predicting the outcome of matches that already occurred?

Because it'd be weird to post predictions before the previous week's games were posted for the public.

All of these predictions were written right after we recorded the commentary for week one.
