Poor Rarenet is out of luck when it comes to timing...
So my humorous attempt at a headline sounds a little severe. Unfortunately, in the midst of the holidays and all the Nintendo/Sega insanity, it looks like one of the best Nintendo-related websites continues to suffer from one of the worst streaks of bad luck imaginable. Previously, Trevor, Dan and... Read more...

Nintendo's fearless leader boldy states that Nintendo will NEVER buy out Sega.
Despite a report printed in Wednesday's New York Times, Nintendo President Hiroshi Yamauchi has indicated that, "there is absolutely no chance that Nintendo will buy Sega..."
The Time's report caused Sega's shares to jump more than 10% before being suspended by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
"The report is absolutely groundless. We are not talking with Nintendo or anyone on such a deal," said a Sega spokeswoman.

What's this?! Nintendo is buying Sega? Well... we'll leave it to you to decide.
According to Reuters, Wednesday's New York Times is reporting that Nintendo has been in discussions for months to purchase rival Sega for reportedly $2 billion.
Regardless of Time's source, a Sega spokesman called the claims "absolutely outrageous." A Nintendo spokesman said, "In this industry there are various kinds of rumors," and laughed.

Is a Sonic game coming to a Game Boy console? Sega sez "N-0" and you know what that spells!
A spokesperson from Sega of Europe today denied all rumors of Sonic the Hedgehog coming to the Game Boy Color. He also said that Sega of Japan and Sega of America are denying it too. This is too bad, it' would've been sweet to play sonic on the GBC. We'll just have to pray that those Sega/Nintendo RPG rumors are true.
