Sega updated their recent financial statement and removed the mention of Sonic Generations for 3DS.
Sonic Generations’ future on the 3DS is now in doubt after Sega Sammy issued a revised earnings report.
A 3DS version of Sonic Generations was listed in the original earnings report, but no longer appears in the updated document. Sega had also listed the game as heading to the PC, but that has also been erased.

One of the eShop's launch titles has been pushed back for improvement.
Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version has been delayed according to a report by Famitsu magazine.
Originally set to be a launch title for Nintendo's eShop, the game has been delayed in order to improve its quality. No new date has been announced, and Capcom USA has yet to comment on the latest developments.

DSi hacker yellows8 detailed the recent DSi firmware update, which was released on May 10. Nintendo DSi Menu Ver 1.4.2 plugs a hole where a specially crafted save file could be loaded from an SD card to install an exploit onto the DSi system's memory, allowing homebrew to be played.

The Steel Diver Iwata Asks reveals the game's origins, including why the game is slow paced and light on content.
Steel Diver was at one point planned to be a DSiWare title, and Mario is fat because games back then could only read square collision detections, according to a recent Iwata Asks about Steel Diver.

Players will be able to play as their favorite Disney characters in this crossover game for Wii.
A listing on Amazon has revealed a new Disney game called Disney Universe.
Based on the information given out, it will be a crossover adventure game where players can take on the role of various Disney characters, both contemporary and classic. Some of these include TRON, Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Stitch from Lilo and Stitch.

Sega revealed the previously unknown version of the upcoming Sonic adventure in their financial announcement.
Sonic Generations is apparently headed to the 3DS. The upcoming 2D/3D platformer was listed in Sega Sammy's earnings report.
The game, which had previously only been announced for the Xbox 360 and PS3, unites the "classic" 2D Sonic gameplay with the "modern" 3D platformer. Generations features levels playable in both 2D and 3D modes and is a major part of Sega's commemoration of Sonic's 20th Anniversary.

Despite previous reports, FIFA's 3DS debut won't have online.
FIFA 12 on 3DS will only have local multiplayer, contrary to the game's announcement press release, which said it would have "head-to-head online matches using Nintendo Wi-Fi connection."
Producer Matt Prior said in a forthcoming Nintendo World Report interview that "Currently, we only have local head-to-head play, but server-based online is certainly something we would be looking at in the future."

Kirby's DS swan song will be out in Japan in July.
Atsumete! Kirby (literally "Gather! Kirby") is coming out on July 7 in Japan, according to a recent issue of Coro Coro Comics.
The hook of the HAL Laboratory-developed game is that you use the stylus to control up to 10 little Kirbys.
So far, there hasn't been any mention of an overseas release of Atsumete! Kirby.

Nintendo Europe is giving fans the chance to choose the game's cover art.
European fans are being given the opportunity to choose between four images for the cover art of the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles, known in the USA and Japan as simply Xenoblade.
Until May 25, votes can be cast on the official site which can be accessed via Twitter and Facebook, with the winning piece becoming the game's official cover.

Retailer spoils the E3 surprise.
An Ubisoft representative has confirmed that Rayman: Origins will be arriving on Wii.
In a short statement to Dutch gaming site N1ntendo, Ubisoft revealed that the Wii version of Rayman: Origins was to have been a surprise announcement at E3. Rumor of a Wii version spread recently when a box art mock-up appeared on Amazon.Rayman: Origins is tentatively slated for a Winter 2011 release.

The 3DS remake of the N64 classic will have several new modes and expanded multiplayer options.
Nintendo's recent Retail Briefing has revealed new Star Fox 64 3D gameplay details.
A Tsutaya employee who attended the briefing made several Twitter posts via the company's Twitter page about the remake's features. There will be three different game modes: 3DS mode, N64 mode and Battle mode. The posts didn't confirm what the differences are between 3DS and N64 mode, but Battle mode was explained.

SpotPass downloads started today for Samurai Warriors Chronicles, and will continue every Friday for the next 21 weeks.

The July launch of Capcom's zombie-blasting 3DS title is the latest in a line of Nintendo-distributed games.
Nintendo of Europe will distribute Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D when it arrives on 3DS in July.
Based around the Mercenaries modes from Resident Evil 4 and 5, The Mercenaries 3D puts the player in control of a character from the Resident Evil franchise and tasks them with killing as many zombies as they can before time expires.
