The first Western 3rd party announcement for Wii U of the show.
Just Dance 2016 has been announced for the Wii U and Wii today at Ubisoft's E3 press conference.
Coming to "all motion consoles" this fall, the game was demonstrated through a live musical performance by Jason Derulo, and will feature the ability to use a smartphone as an alternate controller for the game.

Nine games, one week to download them, discounts after launch. UPDATE: Europe gets it as well!
Nintendo and several independent developers have teamed up to provide demos of indie games during E3.
The demos will be available to download for one week starting today (June 15) and are already on the eShop. Downloading the demos will give the same NNID 15% off the games when the final product launches.

A quick name change and we're good to go.
During the grand finals of the Nintendo World Championship, the game previously known as Mario Maker received its final title.
Now known as Super Mario Maker, the finals showed off a full set of levels from the Nintendo Treehouse in the game's four main disciplines: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario U.

The winner of this bout, and NEW Nintendo World Champion...
For the first time since 1990, someone wears the crown of the Nintendo World Champion.
John "John Numbers" Goldberg triumphed over a series of invited guests and national qualifiers to become the champion, defeating Cosmo Walker in the final round of head-to-head Super Mario Maker.
The tournament format saw 16 players compete in a serious of elimination challenges leading up to the grand final.

Soccer in space with mechs.
The 2nd round of the Nintendo World Championships featured the debut of a new 3DS game called Blast Ball.
The game features 3v3 multiplayer where each player is in a mech that uses guns to roll a ball into the goal. Each match in the championships was first to 3 goals, with a goal that gets smaller each time someone scores into it.

Shigesato Itoi appeared before the Nintendo World Championships to announce that Mother 1 would come to the Virtual Console as Earthbound Beginnings at 9pm ET / 6pm PT.
Released twenty years after Earthbound on SNES, the game was originally released in 1989 in Japan and was translated for release in North America but was never released before outside of Japan.

And what would that mean for Happy Home Designer?
An email from Nintendo Spain may have leaked a couple of Amiibo lines coming soon.
The email shows a Pixel Mario, four Animal Crossing Amiibo including K.K. Slider and Isabelle as well as the Happy Home Designer cards.
We'll be watching during E3 to see if this could lead to another Animal Crossing game aside from Happy Home Designer.

The agency that reported Gold and Silver Mario has struck with a lot of non-Fire Emblem unicorns.
It appears we now have confirmation that some of the rare Amiibo have been reprinted as recently as last month.
First found by @AmiiboNews, Nintendo's CSPIA listings page was updated with new printings of some Amiibo effective June 3. The documents, such as the one pictured for Ness, show reprints in May 2015.

And you thought the only bombs were coming at E3? Guess again.
A weapon update for Splatoon is due this evening, just in time for a Japan Splatfest.
The Splash-O-Matic shoots ink in a manner similar to a garden hose, while the secondary weapon Suction Bombs and the special weapon Bomb Rush will also be added at the same time.
The update will come at the usual time of 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, while Japanese players will get the update in the middle of their first Splatfest.

After more than a few slips, Atlus has finally announced they will be bringing Legend of Legacy to North America this fall.

And it includes the one game the Wii U version forgot.
KoeiTecmo Japan has posted a video of a 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors that will include Wind Waker content. The Japanese title roughly translates to "Zelda Musou: Hyrule All-Stars".
The video confirms Tetra and the King of Red Lions will be playable, and real-time character change in the vein of Samurai Warriors Chronicles may be included.

The summer fun rolls on.
Splatoon's newest map is unlocking tonight for multiplayer, though it may be familiar to those who have beaten the game.
The Kelp Dome stage will open up as a multiplayer map at the usual Splatoon update time of 10pm ET, 7pm Pacific. Kelp Dome will become the seventh multiplayer map for the game.
