You probably guessed it already.
Nintendo will be serving up tennis in a spot abandoned by space.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash has been dated for November 20, slotting into the slot originally slated for the delayed Star Fox Zero. The game's page on Nintendo.com also list the game's MSRP at US$49.99.
The game was previously dated for 20 November in Europe and 21 November in Australia as well.

One day to get your stars out, a few days to vote for Chie
A couple of long-standing Nintendo institutions will be coming to an end this week.
The first to end is Club Nintendo, which will end in all territories outside of North America tomorrow night (local time). Users in Europe, Australia and Japan have a short time left to use what stars or points are left on the account, following the closure of North America’s Club Nintendo on June 30.

The next couple of weeks will be jumpy for the eShop.
The next couple of weeks will feature speed and exploration in the eShop updates.
Following the squashing of a crash bug and an inadvertent, temporary release on the eShop GalaxyTrail announced today on Twitter that Freedom Planet will release this Thursday. The Sonic-inspired title was a part of the Nindies @ Home E3 promotion, and will have a discount from its price of US$14.99 for the first month of sale.

One Shadow Dragon and two Awakening characters join the fray.
The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed two new playable characters for the game currently known as Genei Ibunroku #FE, as well as three of the game's summonable Mirages.
The new playable characters are named Mamori Minamoto and Barry Goodman. Minamoto is a elementary school student who enjoys songs of Japan's Showa era, while Goodman is a retired Western musician who trains the game's main character.

Nintendo of Europe is expanding the Nintendo Selects line to the portable realm.
Starting from 16 October, the line of discounted titles in the UK and Europe will add 3DS games to the existing Wii lineup. Nintendo Selects titles are traditionally sold at approximately £20, but pricing as always is determined by the retailers.

The demo's 10 days late, how long did the game get?
The latest release date for Mighty No 9 has been announced, and it isn't too far into 2016.
At a panel at the TwitchCon gaming convention in San Francisco, Comcept announced that the Kickstarter sensation's console versions (including Wii U) will release on February 9, about a six month delay from the previous September 15 release date. The demo promised to Kickstarter backers for the September 15 date was released after the presentation.

The Japanese Splatoon Twitter account has confirmed tonight's update will be fun for Slosher fans.
The Tri-Slosher, coming tonight at the traditional update times, fires three sets of ink per throw for additional coverage. The sub weapon is expected to be the Disruptor with an expected Bubbler special.

UPDATE: NWR staff have been able to recreate the glitch in 1.10. Original story follows.
Super Mario Maker has received a full point version update, and reports are it resolves a potential level-breaking glitch.
The v1.10 patch's official notes are "Adjustments have been made to make for a more present gaming experience", and the patch requires 223MB.

Extra development should prevent a Rise of Lyric sequel.
A couple of Sonic titles will miss their intended release timeframes.
Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice has been pushed to 2016 in order to provide developer Sanzaru Games extra time to make a quality title. Sega cited wanting to make sure the game had additional polish before releasing the game, which will open the Sonic franchise's 25th anniversary.

Making a mess is one of the highest forms of art.
Results from the weekend in Splatfest action:
North America: Art 255, Science 245 51-49, 51-49 At Hammerhead Bridge, a tight match the whole day ended with Team Art claiming two narrow victories in the closest finish since the 2.0 update. Science made a spirited combeack to try and force extra splats, but Art was able to hold off the charge and pick up the narrow win.

If you're going to kick it old school, you're going to be out of luck for 3D
Some new details were announced for Hyrule Warriors Legends in the game's Tokyo Game Show stream.
During the stream, KoeiTecmo announced that due to technical limitations, the ability to run the game in stereoscopic 3D will only be available on the New 3DS. All of the Wii U version's DLC up to release will be included, and most of the content of the Wii U game will be present except for the Challenge Mode.

A couple of walking spoilers will have a run in with Segata Sanshiro
Nintendo characters will be coming to Project X Zone 2 as the crossover continues to get crazy.
Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles will team with her fellow Xeno character KOS-MOS (Xenosaga Episode 1), while Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening will be a controllable pair in the game. It appears the Fire Emblem pair's ultimate double team move is a reference to the Fire Emblem Awakening cover.

Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto confirms the delay of the major Wii U holiday title to early 2016.
Star Fox Zero is no longer due out on November 20, 2015 as the marquee Wii U game is being pushed back to Q1 2016 according to Nintendo.
