What's this? Nintendo wants to know players' views on important issues?
In the August edition (Volume 147) of Nintendo Power, the Player's Poll Contest asks two very interesting questions suggesting that Nintendo is organizing its GCN plans. Thanks to Canadian "Strange D. Nintendophile," who got his copy freakishly early, we have them for all to see!
Question I. states:

News has surfaced that may point to a North American release of Doshin the Giant.
After posting the Doshin news last night I received an email from a reader. Nintendo of America has registered www.doshin.org (it's just a no page error right now). The site was registered back in April. Why would Nintendo of America go ahead and registered a Doshin site, especially so far in advance? This points to a possible release of the game here in North America. PGC will stay on top of this story. Thanks to Mollie for the scoop!

Hells yeah! If you've pre-ordered an import already, and payed top dollar for shippin', you could be tossing red shells by Friday!
After a couple searches to some regular import stores today, I noticed some stores will have Mario Kart Advance in stock as early as tomorrow!
Mario Kart Advance is set to release in Japan on Saturday, but it looks like distributors have been sending them out early. If you're dying to get your hands on Mario Kart for your GBA, you can pick up the import game for around 45-50 bucks (without shipping).

Oh and man, it looks good. But how about this. Could the starting lineup of SSB:M be devulged? In a wallpaper none-the-less?
In a general news search I came across a bunch of new (or at least images we didn't have) shots of Smash Bros. Melee. Nice to see different shots, but then I came across this picture....
Now, the original (our site immediately renames files) name of the picture on Nintendo's site is http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n01/n64/software/nus_p_nalj/smash/flash/0517/all_160.jpg.... Read more...

Sure, half of you don't know what I'm talking about but so what! This super innovative 64DD game will be reincarnated on the GameCube!
Back when the 64DD (that's Nintendo's 64 Disk Drive for the N64) came out in Japan, there weren't a lot of titles. One of those such titles was Doshin the Giant 1. In the game you took the roll of Doshin the Giant and could control him around his little island. You could help the villagers or you... Read more...

Sega sets the payment structure for the Dreamcast's Phantasy Star Online v.2, which could affect the GameCube version too.
According to GameSpot, Sega will charge $15 (USD) for three months of online play. SegaNet subscribers will not receive any kind of discount. The price of the actual software has not be announced yet, but some there is some speculation that the disc itself will be fairly cheap to compensate for the online fee.

OK, so we said our E3 video would ship on the 15th. Obviously, that didn’t happen, because the 15th was a Sunday. It is now the 16th and the post office opens in a few hours. Yet, the videos aren’t ready quite ready and I’ve been fumbling with what to tell you all.
